as i said earlier, danny missed all pre-season and the early matches..you don't just come back in his position and start getting the kicks right ..it takes time and feel...well done broughy and all !

He was superb in defence today, making some crucial tackles and working hard as the 3rd man in the tackle.

And he outpaced a winger to score his try - top man!!

Don't forget the three times his aggressive tackling resulted in the ball coming loose and Silverwood giving the knock on. Danny was excellent today!

fact is danny b is probably the best scrum half in sl on form
and one of the best kickers

if we can find a way for him, sam, brad, and leo to rotate we are gonna trouble a lot of sides

the stability from tony martin has been the shock cos he seems to be able to play with all of them!

Lets get this straight, Danny Brough has not been getting any stick from anyone for heavens sake. People have had legitimate concerns as to how Brough and Drew in particular will work this season as they clearly didn't last season. Also a number of people were alarmed at Broughs temper tantrums especially towards the end of last season Both are dominent players, gladly and so far they seem to have found a way. Could it be that someone (I wonder who) has given Brough the hard word and told him to concentrate on the football not the petulance? Let's just enjoy.

where would Saints get the money from???? Only one club is stupid enough to spend big on players, especially in the current climate!!!

with all due respect to brough, i can see no reason why once long goes eastmond will not just step permanently into his shoes. as for 125k that sounds completely ridiculous.

This rumour has been doing rounds for a while...rumours in this game are rife alot with substance but do not happen for one thing or another.

However Saints would be foolish to splash out that sort of cash with what i personally believe will in time be the best scrum half in the world in their ranks with Eastmond.

Oh come off it not even my mate at work who is a Saints fan would not be willing to peddle such tripe and he's seen the lad play a hell of a lot more than you.

I really hope he does go onto be a world class H/B but there is absolutely no way on this earth anyone could draw that conclusion just yet. He's simply not done enough, he makes the over rated Westerman look like a veteran.

I honestly don't mind other peoples opinions, I just like to have some logic as to how they reached them. Still if we are going to make totally unfounded and hasty prediction, Tomkins at Wigan is a far more natural and creative H/B - but alas Wigan will soon knock that out of him.

As for Brough, i don't think Saints would be at all foolish to sign a talented experienced H/B coming to the peak of his career - in fact they would be foolish not to.

Think Danny would be silly to go personaly, last stint away from the calming influence of Kear didn't come off did it? He's a player that seems to have a too big character for some dressing rooms and may not fit into their setup

I agree there, I suggest that is wishfull thinking on the part of some - would expect a player exchange TBH.
