| tell you what i bet the tea pot n the tellietubbie at Bradford are breathing a sigh of relief.
this could ultimately blow our season apart if so i for one will find it hard to back them up , although brough does seem to have accepted it.

Danny Brough And Danny Sculthorpe Broke The Club Rules So Therefore Should Take The Punishment. They're Proffesional Rugby Players, Not 2 High School Kids. From What I Have Read On Here, Danny Brough Has Taken It On The Chin, Because There Is No Reaction From Brough. Where As Sculthorpe Hasn't And Needs To Big Up And Take It. Sculthorpe Should Have More Sense In Drinking Seeing As He Is Diabetic.'"
1st - Every word doesn't need a capital letter, it's hard to read what you are trying to say.
2nd - Sculthorpe's diabetes and him drinking, as mentioned before, is irrelevant if he controls it properly.

| Basically what im trying to say is..
They do it, they pay for it.
We pay the money to go watch them,
Not for them to be banned because they have broken the rules.
And also,, scullys diabetics and him drinking is relevant,
When he's a role model to young diabetics wanting to play rugby!

Don't see why the need of a full drinking ban during the season. They are not allowed to drink so many days before a game which is fine and understandable.'"
I bet you Sir Alex Ferguson would not agree with you on this or 90% of the overseas football stars
The Brits may well it as always being a big problem with our so called professional sports men in the UK
As for RL the days of Tuesday and Thursday night training and then down the pub are long gone Its a professional sport played be full time pros on good money sacrifices must be made if they are to perform to the required level
If I was the coach of Wakefield there would be a total ban on booze during the season simple as that

As a diabetic and one who openly struggles fitness wise because of his diabetes you would have thought he'd be more careful than most.

| It does all seem a bit of "naughty boys at the back of the bus". JK was right to do what he did. DB was right to standup and say sorry. Move on. Will be a shame if Scully makes a big deal of it, although it's cut a couple of grand from the wage bill. I do wonder if it will be the last we will see of him in the Super League, which would be an untidy way to end a top flight career. I hope he reflects on that, rather than the cost to his pocket.

Not sure but I think his name is Doug, could be wrong. Bigger than the pair of them and if he sat on JK we would need a new coach

What woriies me is that he returns next week ticks over to the end of the season and copies the antics of Mr Griffin. Although in all fairness to scully he may prefer to act like a pint pot as opposed to a teapot.

In all fairness, I'd hope as a professional sportsman who has dieticians and a training programme tailored for him, I'd imagine he'd be able to stay 'fitter' than us normal people. The way it's being made out on here is like he's sat necking two bags of Tate & Lyle a day - I imagine he knows his body better than we all do.

| The most shocking part of this story for me is that Scully is on £1,600 a week! Assuming that's gross, that equates to around a £100k salary

yeah me too, otherwise its a total none story blown out of all proportion, perhaps because of the size of the fine.
must admit prior to finding out i thought it had to be a lot worse than it is.
surely a suspended fine for a first offence would have been better??
im of course presuming this is the fisrt offence.

He may well know his body better than we do but how much notice does he take of his dieticians? Hopefully with more attention than he pays to the club rules!

| With Scully spitting the dummy out and going to the press I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play again for the club. If this is the case then we need to get him shipped out asap. Can't imagine the likes of Wilkes, Fergy, Pitts and maybe even JD would be happy at hearing Scullys wages. People have slated NGB4C (granted Scullys played well this season) but it may be he is right on this one.

Agreed, if I went to work and started having a pint I would be more than likely sacked.
Rules are rules and if you don't stick to them then you should expect to be called into the managers office.
