some clubs take the stance of not posting match results and reports has its open to question,i agree that its good to get the reports on regardless of the result and performance but has a coach it also gives you time to reflect on the game and highlight the positives from the day.
that said having read the comments posted on the east hull website last week it disgusts me that it gives people the oppotunity to have a dig at people who work overtime to go out of there way to update websites for there OWN players and parents to read.
has a result of those comments made which were made by a poster on this very forum i really thought why bother carrying on with this thread because at the end of the day we are talking about childrens rugby league and sometimes its fair to say we can all go too far but those comments were disgusting and whilst not on this thread it was directed at a poster of this thread. 
rant over now thats said can we get on with talking rugby and cut the crap out.

Thanks appreciate that, we've a very determined group that'll bide their time and continue to develop.
On the web and reports side of things there's sometimes too much to keep up with as a volunteer, i have a 60 mile round trip to do each time for training and matches on top of a busy job and I coach U14s for Yorkshire once a week, so sometimes takes a while to update. |

Hi Chris, all credit to the Crigg All Blacks website looks like you have got someone that is dedicated in pushing the cause for the youngsters.
I don't get involved with ours as its up to each and every team to do their own I was asked but don't want to be seen to favoring players, player stats do give the away side an advantage of research. publishing names and photos is fine as long as its protecting the child's interests and is governed by logging in.
as you know children's walfare is a mine field
as for putting up the scores, well you have to be trusted to run it correctly.

TBF its more than 1 , and a very regular poster on heres wife is responsible for a large part , im not saying who but ! he does live in a pineapple under the sea but if they needed more help there would be volunteers .
i just think the kids in all clubs deserve more back .
i dont go in for all this "i only do it for them" when on a Sunday/Monday morning you can hardly talk due to your throat being so ho . |

I think winners may get promoted  so they get to play the cas sides and outwoods etc
games so far
@ kettlethope KHS winners convincingly but let in late tries IIRC
@ Minsthorpe MHS winners bruising encounter ketty going down for treatment
should be a very tight fought encounter |

Skirlaugh Bulls 20 Stanley Rangers 16
it didn't bowed well in the first set of six when their full back clearly knocked on and it wasn't given, we knew that traveling to skirlaugh would go down the one sided reffing.
I'm totally fed up with seeing this happen through the seasons and something has to be done to stop this spoiling the game.
Skirlaugh didn't need help as they played with a passion to win and did.
Stanley had a half time lead of 4-6 but then allowed the score to get away from them going to 20-6, two tries later we was back within reaching them but ran out of time.

| Wigan St Judes 16 v Normanton Knights 28 U 14's National Cup
Can I just say a big thank you to the fantastic welcome that was received at Wigan St Jude's today from everybody at Normanton Knights U14's. It was a fantastic day and even though the result finally went to Normanton, it could of gone either way.
The game was played in glorious sunshine in fantastic spirit. The Normanton lads played a real team game and dug deep at the end with 2 late tries to clinch the win. St Jude's should also be proud of the performance their lads put in and never stopped trying.
Thanks again for a superb welcome. A fantastic day out.   |

Bit of a mix up and an unfortunate lack of sportsmanship at U13s year 8.
Carlton were meant to play Ossett in the semi but a mixed message from a junior PE teacher regarding whether the game was on meant Carlton registered Ossett as a no show and therefore a forfeit.
The Ossett lads were actualy stripped and waiting on the pitch for their opposition, when the error was discovered. The head of Ossett PE tried to get Carlton to rearrange but they flatly refused and chose instead to take a place in the final where they got beaten 44-0 by Kettlethorpe.
Not the best message to be sending to the students.
