| Sort of agree with all the points but in the end its becoming a race, so, if you are in a race, you try to win by the biggest margin & not by what you think is a safe margin which if you do the latter you can slip up
up & be overtaken !

Prediction - the 2 clubs to miss out on SL next year are London (no way of making the points up) and Leigh, who, whilst other scores are potentially variable, will lose 0.25 gained from last year's CC win.
That's Wakey and TO up.
Cas of course could falter and see Bulls also get up.
Or Salford could lose a whole grade for a financial episode and see them graded as a C.
Imagine that.

| For what its worth i wouldnt be supprised if it were to go to 14 club sl.i would also say salford could and probally should be in danger with there current financial issues.im not over confident if wakey get in or not i inow matt as said top grade b which may be enough it may not be.tine will tell.also think it should be decided in july atvthe latest so clubs who are in limbo can plan ahead

Where do you get the apology thing Start?
It would impact us as well if they changed it but it would be a massive change to adjust the location scores for everybody.

| About IMG points given, is it still correct that if a SL club own their own ground you get more points ?
If so then Castleford have a new owner as declared by dti registration of owners of businesses, in that registration it States the new owner is Mr Jepson & will rent it out to Castleford plc, two separate entities
Thus a lower points score should follow ?

| What i dont understand is that we didnt het our new stand points on last years score hence we get it on this years but theres talk of cas getting more points on this year cos of ground improvements but they aint done none yet and we all know it takes more than a couple of months

Nothing structural or an increase in quality, just rearranging the deck chairs.
There's still an ice-berg due in October.

We weren't using it when they calculated the score.
They are talking. Let's see how that works out. But we were in the middle of developing so didn't tick any of the boxes but they are adding to existing so easier to just make the threshold. If they do it right.

Looking at the plans on the portal I’d be surprised if they were to pay out to remodel and refurb something then build to the new plans. The axiom and council money won’t stretch for that on the portal and some emergency refurb works.
The facility Cas have on the portal looks far more larger and packed full of way more facilities and rooms than what we have ended up with.
They have plans for 12 x pitchside boxes and a 220 person function area same as ours plus directors viewing boxes, bars, club shops, gyms, numerous offices, 4 x lifts etc etc.
If what we got is a barometer at 12.2 million I can’t see them getting that and doing emergency refurbs to get points.

| Apparently….at a meet the directors meeting.at cas. it was said that the up take of units was a long way off…
That doesn’t stop them putting the feelers out for firms that might be up for building it though, now that it’s not been called in ..
But the re modelling/ bodge up… might be there a while and when it does start the logistical issues (should they stay) will be massive…

| I actually think us and cas will have very similar high B scores, just putting us ahead of the other clubs around us..
But I bet a certain chairman (over the Pennines won’t be happy if cas have got more points than his club for doing a make up of the ground to tick the box’s ..

Looks like a lot of the article was written on the back of a cigarette packet.
I'm certainly glad that Ellis seems to be leaving no stone unturned in genuinely investing and buying into the improvements under IMG, and most of it goes hand in hand with improvements to the club. I don't really get that sense with Cas at all, certainly not Fev.

| I tend to agree about Cas. Though in their defense they get decent crowds in the existing stadium, whereas we did need an improvement to make it more appealing.
The seats being added to the standing area down the side of the pitch will be make or break to me.
That could be great or a disaster.

I honestly would like to see (and think best) the below for the west stand. It wouldn’t cost the earth either.

- sort the terracing out below, new barriers installed, paintwork refreshed. The current structures in middle demolished and cleared. Cladding on rear full length and roof full length. Bar facility in the middle.

Middle area - roof bar terrace area for 100-200 persons with bar facility upstairs. Either side of the 2-4 x executive boxes for the game housing approximately 10-15 persons each. With viewing balcony.
Potentially small storage and small office to the rear somewhere.
I do think we should try to add in some executive boxes to the design on the upper floor. Future proof if at some point we develop the South also.

It may reduce the cost of lost balls that regularly end up in those terraces gardens

True, I’d be fine with a terrace rooftop but equally I’d be happy to see a row of 6-10 more executive boxes with viewing for each, the cladding to rear and roof full length with a bar incorporated (similar to the bopper bar or the small north stand one.
