| Our twitter today has pictures which show both Reece and Max training, so quite possible both are fit to play.

| Go with the strogest team possible - we'll have a six day turnaround before KR and with them playing saints and also down on numbers.

A post with sense .Let's not carried away ,we have played all of the season with out our first 17 Last week we had one of the youngest teams on the pitch for years .We seemed to have got something like a three-quarter line again . We are still under strength .Just wish fans would stop getting carrid away ,We are not safe yet and we shall have to give 100% in every game to survive

| Certainly timely having Max back! At least we can leave the centres as they were. Will be interesting to see who gets picked in the back row and at 13.......

| Right sided SR is the question mark now. All the forwards are props or middles, with the exception of Walker.
I'm tempted to say Crowther for his stamina and tackling but I'm not sure he's mobile enough. Walker could be a shout but I don't know whether he has any experience in the SR.
If not those then we are playing a prop and that would be vulnerable.
The rest of the team picks itself for me assuming they are all fit
1 - Jowitt
2 - Murphy
3 - Gaskell
4 - Hall
5 - Kershaw
6 - Miller
7 - Lino
8 - Whitbread
9 - Hood
10 - Arona
11 - Ashurst
12 - Walker
13 - Crowther
14 - Bowes
15 - Bowden
16 - Battye
17 - Fifita
Croft, Aydin, Butler and Evans miss out
I might swap Aydin for Bowes if we decide Crowther can cover again.

| Hull look to be really short on backs for this one but, their pack still looks pretty strong so, this wont the the easy game that some seem to think.
However, IF we defend as we have for the past few games (apart from the first 20 v Catalan), we have a great chance of going back to back and just about securing our SL future.
Come on Trin !

Yes this is my worry. Personally I can’t see why we just don’t bring in Windrow who actually is a second rower. That way it’s only one positional change and at least he is familiar with the edge defence required and position.
I’m not sure whether it would be better for a middle or one of our backs to play at SR but who ever it is needs the mobility and defensive capabilities so we don’t get caught out on that right edge for numbers.
I also hope we don’t try and better then down the middle but try and expose their edges. If we can get some big men running out wide too early on it could be beneficial. I guess just play like we did against Wigan and be on it from minute 1.

Dont see how you can drop Aydin, he has been playing great. He should be second row in place of Walker, he started life in SR and chester turned him to prop. Plus we need a bit of size to match that hull pack. Oter than than I will go with that team

| With regards players missing i think batch and shaul a massive more than kelepi i know jowitt returning is in some minds a offset of shaul missing but not for me there a huge difference between the pair.in regards second row did crowther not first come into side as a second rower all those years ago(maybe im wrong)but im also led to believe its a postion hall can cover and does want to play ,now if thats the case it 2 totally different choices crowther will be better defensive but hall will offer more in attack personnally think it will be crowther.
Reserves play saturday too so if that team gets announced before friday it may give some inclination of team for friday.

| I'm hoping that Hull players have decided they're mid-table and are looking at early September holiday jaunts and hoping not to take an injury with them. If engaged, they have a good team. For some reason, though, Hodgson just can't get them firing. Maybe Radford wasn't so bad after all.
But our modus operandi has always been to fill the supporters with hope and then crash it really badly.

I don’t recall Crowther ever playing second row.
I just can’t see why we wouldn’t just put Windrow in making only one change with no knock on effects.
Just seen Pochings interview and he again says ‘next man up’. Windrow is the only second row left other than Ashurst so I don’t know who Poching sees as a SR. Someone must have put their hand up.
I hope we change as little as possible personally.
I’d be happy to give Crowther a go at second row and let Walker/Battye interchange at 13. The only issue I have is will Crowther be able to do the full 80? Likely not.
Still think the most obvious answer was just to throw Windrow in but we will see how it plays out.

Indeed, let's hope we've changed our mentality and that we can go back to back.
In fairness, apart from the start we gave Catalan, we've been pretty consistent for the last few games and we should be looking to pick another vital 2 points.
Come on Trin !

Because Shaw is a prop (front row) and not back row. Props generals are middle/central players and back row more edge forwards. They have very different requirements especially in defence.

| Just because Hull got 60 points put past them last week and we put 30 points past Wigan doesn't mean we will win on Friday. We supporters know that . Let's hope the players do. After all we should have thrashed a very understrength Catalan team but at least in the first 10 minutes didn't realise you still have to play to the best of your ability to beat any superleague team no matter how many injuries they have.

Yeah i'm aware of the general difference between a prop and a second rower!! The game is littered though with plenty who have converted from one to the other, i just wasn't aware he was an out and out prop, i had it in my head he had played back row for the reserves? but i could be wrong, usually am! I'm surprised he hasn't had more chances, given Sid got injured, Aydin on loan, and we've brought in Butler and Bowden. Obviously Willie doesn't think he's ready for it yet.
