Would certainley help, but it needs the entire team to work as hard as Batch does. It's going to be hot tomorrow so that makes defending even more draining. Hopefully our fitness holds out.

Batch definitely has to go back to right SR and keep tanginoa on the bench ready for the last 30 minutes for some impact and give batch a rest.

I agree, JC at loose for the extra defensive strength in that first 20 so we don't rack up points early on. Kelepi off the bench for fresh legs especially in this weather. Will be a tough one in the current climate. Need to be on it with our discipline so we don't tire ourselves out constantly defending.

Hope they have been watching our defensive reads (or lack of them) in training and are working on strengthening them.

This is our 23rd game this season and we still haven’t sorted out our defence on a consistent basis. We have had problems with opposition wingers running in hat tricks for three seasons so if we don’t know by now I think it might be a little too late.
The one thing that is currently working in our favour is the on field discipline of the Toulouse players who have managed to blow winning positions in the last two games.

I agree opposition wingers always seem to have an overlap yet its still happening with the new coaching team,this is why fans are pulling their hair out. Are the coaching team to blame or is it the players?

It mentions that Hood is sick (probably of losing) but nothing about Fifita unless I missed it.

Not sure he is. Bored is at a funny stage. Looks great at reserve level but yet to spark at first team.

Also whenever Walker has played hooker he’s looked ok tbh. But Hood is a loss.

Funny but in all our time in SL hooker is the one position we’ve done ok in. But since Woody left it’s not been great.

Who’s the Academy hooker, is it Camplin??

Spot on. Wigan could field their academy team, if we’re not up for it we’d get beat. It’s all about which Wakefield turns up, the one we know are capable of competing, or the one with a majorly soft underbelly.

He does play alot at 9 for academy and reserves got a good passing game and good at scooting esp near line but i wouldnt say hes ready for first team and i know him very well and they see him more as a middle due to his running style.

Why didn’t we play like this last week but whatever the outcome the points would be amazing but the points difference is only slightly less important for a team in our position.
