Would be very disappointed to see Max lose his place, barely put a foot wrong since coming into the side. Must have the no1 Jersey next year.

Tbh I think Rocky has looked good at fullback in his last couple of appearances, would rather see him play there than Grix. If we can I'd get Grix on dual reg for fitness.

Up until his injury Grix was excellent apart from the odd error's he made, Jowitt had to wait for his chance to come because of injury to Grix, he's taken his chance superbly well, and while nobody is saying he's been faultless his mistakes haven't been as glaringly obvious as what Grix's were, I'm a fan of them both but in the interest of fair play Jowitt should be afforded the same opportunity as Grix, baring in mind he is the future of the club, I'm all for including him in the squad for covering injuries, but not at the expense of playing for the sake of it.

Wouldn't want to see any of the lads dropped after Friday's display but I do like to see Batchelor out on the pitch. Maybe Batch for Annakin at a push? Hope we're just warming Grix up to cover any future injuries.

Let's hope that Chester learnt his lesson last time he changed a winning side to accommodate someone returning from injury especially in the halves.
When Jowitt was dropped for Magic, with Rocky moving to FB, it cost us very dear AND set Shudds on one hell of a run.
Unless we are carrying an injury in 1,6 or 7, please stick with what we have.
Jowitt rightly, had to wait his turn when Grix was in form and surely, Grix now has to do the same.

To be honest maybe Chester just wants to bring a senior player back into the squad for general influence without actually putting him in the 17.
Same as when you bring a young kid in for experience but don't intend playing him.

The best player plays for me..... no sentiment needed..... But right now Max is the best player. Its been nice to see the ball returned at speed.

It was also nice to be reasonably confident that all those bombs put up by Sneed last Friday were going to be dealt with safely.

Max has done more than enough to prove that he is our first choice fullback, I would be looking to get Grix off the books and tell Luke Hooley that he will get his chance and if the opportunity arises to grab it with both hands.

Wouldn't be thinking about getting rid of Grixy just yet! He has great value a utility back and Max needs that senior presence to keep him on his toes.

The FB jersey should be Max's until he loses it though.

couldn't really do score updates last week as it was just me on my own in Hull (we're volunteers and availability is juggled with our own every day work commitments). There's usually two of us so it makes multitasking a little bit easier to update scores when there is. Will bear this in mind and try and get more updates into the commentary throughout games.

our forwards played better than theirs I thought - the difference in the game was our 6 , 7 and 1 - We had no structure at all attacking the line...to be 0 points at half time with the amount of ball we had was solely down to those 3.
