Amazingly, these players whom you suggest posess a tackle technique which is so poor that it endangers their own health, don't suffer the same injuries against other opposition.

That suggests it was something to do with the opposition in this match, maybe raising an elbow or leading with a knee as they enter contact, possibly the third man in etc..

He tweeted earlier that he was hoping not to be out too long so doesn't seem as
serious as we first thought.

One , Rees Lynne is it ? , slipped going into the tackle , collided with the Leigh players knee at knee height

Miller basically butted Harrison Hansen ( we might well have scored if he hadn't ) in the face going into the tackle a bout 3 yards from our line splattering Hansens nose all over his face , the ref took the ball off him and replaced it with a clean one because of Hansens blood on it

I don't know about the other one ( although I think that's the one Hansen had to go off for a concussion test ) as it was too far up field

Last week at Saints we had both starting props leave the field after about 15 minutes because they knocked each other out in a tackle

Haven't seen the game so I can't comment on it but I have watched Leigh every time they've been on TV, whilst I wouldn't say they were out and out grubs, its a tactic they have to employ, its a fine balance between pushing the envelope of physicality (polite description) vs penalties conceded.
Hull do it and Wigan do it, nobody else in the league besides Leigh really stand out as particularly that way inclined, I mean they've all got their wind up men but they seem to be generally isolated brain farts, they don't look systemic.
Hey, we all gotta do what we think is best for our club, what we lack in one area we have to try and compensate for in others, ain't nothing wrong with that, but there is a line, its a question of where you draw it.

I dunno, can anybody explain to me why Hull and Leigh are running 8 cards each at opposite ends of the table while Cas and Widnes are running 1 and 0 cards respectively at similarly opposing league positions ??
If it was related to the level teams are competing at, with the increased frustration and desperation levels that that brings during a game, what are widnes doing on 0 and Leigh on 8 cards, bottom of the league with a point separating them.

You mean Toronto who have a large contingent of ex Leigh players who are coached by the same Ex Leigh coach that fostered the dirty culture that still pervades the Leigh Centurions club
