With regard to your original post, I take it you've not been to a game at Wheldon Road then, when traffic actually has to stop due to the amount of pedestrians on the road. Doesn't make it right but it's the world we live in.

Try dropping a line to Box headquarters, they may get the place shut down prior to their long awaited move!

Did any one actually take advantage of the free re-entry for the Sheffield game? they must have played well to win that easily against a team who many had tipped to go unbeaten this year.

To be fair Lockers I should have mentioned the conditions, its why I asked really. It would certainly appeal to me on a sunny summers day.

Watched the first half, again the Sheffield forwards dominated 20.4 HT I believe. Toulouse will probably gain the odd win at home but what I saw today they'll concede a few points on their travels.

I think there were about 700 there so I'm guessing some Wakey fans must have stayed as Sheffield won't have brought that many up, and I'd guess Tolouse brought none. I was far too cold to think about hanging around for another couple of hours to watch another game which is a shame. Hopefully the offer stands for any double header as when it's warmer I'll certainly stick around

Thinking about it, I appreciate that they wouldn't have wanted a game before the match today given the conditions but when the weather dries up, I'd be more inclined to take in an Eagles game before the Wakey game. It might attract a few more Eagles fans with a super league game to follow & with all due respect I can't imagine they'd pack the place out!

The buses caused more of an obstruction before the game. Shouldn't be allowed to drop off there as they are on double yellow lines.

Well I was suggesting that one admission took in both games, hence I wouldn't imagine that the Eagles & their opponents fans would pack the place out. Could just be for selected games such as Catalans & Salford etc. Just an idea as we don't often pack the place out!

Wheldon road does not concern me I follow Wakefield an and as i said its not so much a critisism but something to be learnt from.

Don't really see what the problem is, didnt take me any longer to get out and it makes sense to send the fans their seperate ways out IMO.

As for a kid walking in the middle of the road that is the fault of the parents nothing to do with the club.

Now thankyou that was the intention of my initial post to get ideas as to how to avoid the same issues in the future, give the club something to work with now maybe we could compile a list of suggestions give it to someone at the club so issues like this an possibly worse can be avoided.

I really dont know what your issue is with all this, did it mean you had a slightly longer walk? Did you get a cramp? Stand in a Puddle?

Walking down that path (if you can call it a path) behind Northstand, I got more mud on my trainers in that 30 second walk than I have in the last 12 months...not happy...where do I send my cleaning bill...club or council...

I have given.my services many times in the past on an if requeated would do so again I will gladly compile a risk assesment and offer it to the club and was willing to do so hence putting it out here looking for positive contributions from those also in attendance but all I appear to.have got is a parenting class for those whose children were forced to walk on the road.

Horbury, I think you may find the response was caused by the comment about the kid walking down the road. That isn't the point you are actually making.
Closed gates and crowds being too big for the pavements, and general exit procedures are a problem that needs addressing before someone gets hurt. No one would have a problem with trying to make it better, and your point is a good point.
Using the example of the kid walking down the middle of the road implies the parent just chose to risk their kid in an attempt to get past the crowd quicker.

It's a big problem, some people bustle out of the ground like it's on fire, and then just amble down the path as if it's a country walk. I don't get it, they are always 3 abreast and donny road is horrible!!! Get out, get where your going, but most importantly get out of my way

No your missing my point the child and his parents were forced off the pavement by the barrage of Hull fans coming the other way an for the umpteenth time I am not laying blame at anyones Door but just looking for any suggestions to stop this happening again altough not many clubs bring as Many as Hull did on Sunday an future double ups will be in better weather an more including myself will stay for the second game. But this highlights what a negative bunch we have on here im starting to see why Big Al has chucked in the towel people would rather start a slagging mstch as aposed to.thinking and putting on a positive response.

Thought the stewards and all involved did a first class job considering the state of BV, the sooner we are out of the dump the better. How the hell you are supposed to get 3,500 Hull fans out of the ground when only one exit route is now available is a miracle. Imagine if Wakey fans on the Northstand had been allowed of the same exit gates. Its an impossible job. The club, the Stewards and all involved did a first class job.
