There was everything wrong with his comments and it's been reported by me to the site. If the comments were racist about our players would you be ok about that? Or because they are homophobic is that acceptable? And don't give me all that 'he was only having a laugh crap' because that is the first excuse of a bully who's been found out. Interested to hear what the mods have to say about this because their silence is deafening.

I guess it depends what your definition of homophobic is. Is it showing signs of hatred, fear, hostility towards homosexual? I don't think it is. I think it might be an inappropriate comment to make, but homophobic? Nah.

I understand that everyone draws their own line on this type of behaviour. It went way beyond my line, but others may view it differently. I tend to have a zero tolerance approach to this type of banter - the person usually hides behind what they claim to be a 'humorous' comment, but actually in the background is a nasty taste of intolerance.
