If 2,000 fans were coming to the LSV,they would be automatically housed in the South stand,no problem.
Your club have said,there's no segregation but would you mind awfully standing on the western terrace chaps,i can understand Wakey fans being annoyed if Leigh take over the North stand,but you can't blame the Leythers,poor planning on your officials part.

There isnt a south stand, that is the bar and hospitality.

Seems a bit odd really after the tweet earlier in the week that there wouldn't be any segregation, and it wasn't a problem standing there in Super League nor in the cup the other year, though I do understand that you've made efforts to reclaim it since.

Most clubs come in to our 'popular' area for what it's worth. The only ones that don't tend to are those that are allocated a stand or section of their own which, for what it's worth, has a roof and more than half a dozen steps.

All seems a bit unnecessary really.

Last time there was an issue with away fans wanting to go in the north stand was cas a few years ago and we all know what happened that night, blood police and urine.

Anyone would think Cas was a local Derby!!

On a serious note will the West be exclusive for Leigh fans then, and will it hold 3000??

No and No so if there are 3000 I would expect some will have to be housed in the North Stand

Don't know how many the western terrace holds but it's more than it looks. Since the western terrace has been allocated the away terrace teams with big away following usually go north/west corner when west terrace is full but I've only known this to happen once and that was Leeds 2 years ago when we had a crowd of 10k and everywhere was packed.

One of my first visits to your ground was when the west was a proper stand with a great bar underneath and you had a huge Kop where the flats are now

That's when our ground was a ground to be proud of. I can't believe we knocked the south bank down and built a wall, also knocking the west stand down after the Bradford fire only to find out afterwards we could have kept it.

We are not the only club without cover for away fans!

I think the current ground capacity for safety reasons is around 7800 so on that basis would say western terrace would accommodate around 2,000 at the most and possibly less

you cannot stand between peoples ears, where I am assured there is plenty of space.

I thought the "point" was that when you segregate away fans then they are at the mercy of the elements.

Away end at cas is of course open but no-one is refused entry to under cover princess street stand.

All this is ostensibly a moot issue however as I'm sure in future no-one will be refused entry to any part of your ground - just delighted for anyone to attend.

Great showing from Leigh fans today probably as many as we took to hull yesterday and they had the TV option.
