I couldn't agree more - I've talked him up but as Vasty points out, I know far less than Agar about player potential, squad dynamics and the available budget.

In fact, the more I read Vasty's opinion on Bosc, the more I am persuaded; he was terrific for Les Cats a few seasons ago, but he does seem to have lost his va-va-voom after a series of nasty injuries.

Given where we were a few months ago, I'm happy that this squad is significantly more competitive than I expected; I'm sure that whomever we sign at HB will be the right man for the job.

I said 'if he opts for Cas'... As in, has the choice and choses them over us. Given that, and Agars connections with the french squad, Id be asking questions if The club wasnt more of a draw than Cas.

Ultimately it's not "whether Bosc chooses Cas", it's whether Cas offer him a contract.... which they won't.

I'd have honestly ssaid Bosc's best days are behind him, although that's been put upon him by injuries and playing OOP

Of course that could mean he has heard we have signed someone and wasn't told the name
or he was told the name and hasn't heard of him before

Subject to a visa is what i heard....no name though until 100% signed sealed and delivered....possibly one or even two other signings in the next week or so....things are looking up!!
