I would suggest you reserve judgement until the squad is complete before you build up your hopes. We have currently only acquired one player. Most of the clubs we will be equal to have done most of their recruitment, so will be pushed to add anymore.

No it does not take a genius to know that if MC had bought AG out he or whoever would need to be approved by the RFL much like Bradford. This is not a sign of genius but an understanding of how the RL works which I would think you would know.

Those who own the majority shares owns the club which unless MC has bought them is still AG. If he has bought them was it with his own money or the clubs from the sale of players. You appear to be in the know so please enlighten us and if so why was he not subject to the same due diligence that occurs when a club changes owners.

Mine is based on facts AG held the majority of shares if these had been sold or transferred then the RFL would need to vet the new owners and confirm they are fit and proper people. At the time I have no doubt AG was and would still probably be so and let's not forget they weren't exactly queuing up to take over a club favourite to lose its licence.
What is yours based on, hopeful optimism, blind faith or just disparate need. I asked how you knew MC owned the club you have not answered, I gave you my reasons you can now give us yours.

Think this is probably the best option for him at the moment, as he would not get much for his shares or investment at this time.

MC offered to have a chat with you when he took over, after you voiced concerns (and rightly so if i may add) you didn't take him up on that offer either.

You are quick to lay praise with AG (who lets be fair has caused this financial mess) but reluctant to praise MC who has sorted them out, that's strange in anyone's book.
The player situation is a strange comment too. You mentioned Ted, but the reason he had to bring in players that may be classed as below par was mainly down to his running of the club, it can't be classed as the same with Mac because this is not his problem, it's one he inherited.

Without doubt AG did some good during his time and most fans get that but he and JE overall were the arbiters of their own demise due to a very lax grip on finances and a low regard for who they did business with.

With regards your fellow moderator I will withhold my praise for MC and the board because it is not difficult to reduce a debt by selling players and reducing the wages. I believe that all companies do the same however for a rugby club it effects their likely survival especially when the same board votes to have two clubs relegated.
It was the right decision to hand the club on but once again you forget that MC held 40% of the shares and was the accountant for the first 12 months of their reign.
Ted got us into and kept us in SL despite his failings, I am certain he would never have gone along with the RFL if it jeopardised our place in SL.
In conclusion I can see both sides it just that currently I don't have any information to suggest that one knows how to keep us in the top flight. When I think they do I will acknowledge it.
