Always thought Murphy played better on the wing. Remember his try vs Hull KR at their place? Must have beat about 26 players down the left flank.

Doubt you will get Murphy back he's playing superbly for us, one of the 1st names on our team sheet now and a real possibility for our player of the season too. George is out of contract and will be leaving i should imagine,and has been rumoured to be joining KR, Bradford and Cas upto now.

He'll be a real fans favourite at Cas.

The only reason might be that he wants F/B or Centre, a bit wasted on the wing for me.

Well at least this gives a chance for a player who wants to stay at the club

Tommy Lee had a good season for us all things considered, and certainly isn't a bad player, I was slightly surprised when we let him go to London knowing he could cover hooker and halfback

Wood doesn't inspire me personally, but then neither did Murphy but look what being at a good club has done for him...

Kyle Wood might not be great but he provides cover & may well improve dramatically under new coaching at a top club.

I like Kyle - not an amazing player but a decent one who always did his best for us. I think its a very smart move from us - PA has a knack of getting combinations spot on and I can see the sense in this signing, he will come at a lowish price but plug a small gap in our squad thats been needed. I think we will play him at 9 off the bench. Lunt will continue to play big minutes kyle will come of the bench to spell him and will be in reserve in case of injury to our halves. He has something more of a kicking game than lunt and although we will lack from lunts running game when he comes off we will gain from woods kicking game at the right time in the game when defences are tired at the end of the half and we can make the opposition turn and chase. As for Tommy Lee the fan above who was slating him is misguided - he played a very big part in OUR squad last year and complimented our players very well. We missed him terribly when he got injured which is the reason we had to get scott moore in (but only because of the issue with Lunt and NB). We would have gladly kept him but London offered more and a longer contract.

he was never playing at this level consistently, odd flashes of it at Giants but Brown dropped him due to his defence. He has improved greatly beyond doubt. Being in a place where you are wanted and are happy, and being coached not ignored will get the best out of you

OK 3/10, you really are full of it. Amazes me that such a "top" club still has to find a third of it's team from what I can only assume you cosier "not a top club".

Wood is poor defensively for the hooker role as you'll find out when he is targeted by the opposition. Not as good as last season, inconsistent.

I don't think he is trolling, I think he makes a valid point in that some players improve when they go to top clubs and Wood could do so. How come whenever someone else comes onto this board with a different viewpoint we immediately assume that they are trolling?
