I'm guessing we're playing to the same rules as last year, unless someone has some suggestions for minor alterations.
KC will be along shortly to clarify how it all works (I hope).
... but anywho, here's what I remember:
You need to contact KC to register and pay £5 or as much as you please, which is then donated to a nominated worthy cause.
I'll put a list of fixtures up each round and you need to predict the winner for each, preferably by copying and pasting the list and highlighting/colouring your choice (or indicating a draw if you really want).
You get a point for every correct prediction and a bonus 2 points if you predict all the fixtures for that round correctly.
e.g.
Round 1
=#FF0000Leeds v Hull FC
=#FF0000Salford v Wigan
St Helens v =#FF0000Huddersfield
=#FF0000Bradford v Wakefield
=#FF0000Hull KR v Catalans
London v =#FF0000Widnes
Warrington v =#FF0000Castleford

You just pick which teams you thinks are going to win each weekly round of SL, simples.
What we did last year is all give money as a entry fee of sorts but this money went to a great cause which was
Little Leon Purdy.

adam did 2008 and I did the next two, kinleycat did the last two
Mwildcat won the first two leagues and then Yorkshire1 won 2010, not sure but I think I introduced the cup event in 2010 in which devil's advocate won to my knowledge.
I'll check if I still have the original rules I know I do have the spreadsheets that made it a lot easier

For payment arrangements it's best dealing with Kinley Cat via pm.
I believe he takes cheque/cash/paypal and possibly beer tokens.

| THESE ARE LAST SEASONS DETAILS< COCO MAY WISH TO ALTER:
Following on from my experience of running the Lge last year, i have a few instructions to competitors for this year;
1. Please try and make sure you have made payment ASAP, i am more than happy to give out my email address or postal address to anyone, equally i am more than happy to collect in person at BV over the firt few weeks of the season.
Last season i had one or two competitors who started, did it for a week or two and didn't bother any more, and didn't pay.
Thats not a problem, but i desperately want your money this year.
2. All predictions must be in 10 minutes before K.O off the first game of the weeks round, any predictions after that will forfeit any games being played.
It only happened once or twice last season, and the competitors accepted that in good grace.
3. The preferred method of posting your predictions is in Fixture order (this is the order they are displayed in the Lge Exp fixtures section on the back page, if you're on the ball) on the predictions thread. Please Mods can this be a sticky this year? as from time to time last season it took some finding.
Alternatively you can email me them if you prefer or there are any issues with accessing the site.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try and do them in order (it makes my life so much easier and gives me less chance to cock it up!!!!), i recommend waiting until the fixtures are posted (i try to do them monday A.M) and then copying and pasting them with your prediction of 1 = home win, 2 = Away win or x = DRAW, or a simple highlighting in bold or another colour to indicate your winner.
4. As with last season the points will be awarded as follows: 2 points per correct prediction and 2 bonus points for a full house of 7 maximum predictions.
And thats about it, i will try and respond to all PMs i have received by the end of the week, if you haven't heard back drop me a PM and i will respond ASAP.
Anyone wanting to pay by paypal, my email is still the same so thats simple, please remember paypal do take a % of the transaction, so please if you can add a little bit extra to cover it.
5. Minimum contribution is £5
Good Luck to all competitors, it was a good laugh last year, i'd love to see all the regular posters to the forum have a go, if nothing else it shows how little most of us know .
Cheers.
KC
PS there will also be Challenge Cup competition as last year. and not to forget thanks to the club for donating a signed shirt for the cup competition, and a season ticket for the winner of the league , i will be shamelessly on the beg again this year, you have been warned!!!
Please try and follow the rules, it will make coco's life so much easier.
I will draw attention to the rule regarding placing your predictions in the order they are posted by coco.
Most errors last year were as a result of posters not following this rule and then wondering why they're points tally was wrong.

Cheers for that KC. I have no problems with the rules as they stand.
Just 3 points:
1. I'll try to keep track of posting times & eligible entries, but (unless Wakefield are playing) I'll be in bed a few hours before ko time on a Friday (8pm your time = 4am my time) so if someone can temporarily lock it, if that's feasible?, or I'll just take the posting times as read.
2. I don't get LE over here. I do have the fixture list printed in League Express at the start of the season and I intend to use that. So, when sky mess around with the fixture order, I'll probably stick with the original script (assuming it's on the same weekend).
3. Anyone wishing to submit by e-mail can pm me and I'll give them my address (rather than messing KC about).
Mistakes will be made, but I'll try to keep them to a minimum.
Payment to Kinley ASAP.

Little Leon says he'll make one in, KC let me know how to pay..
As for a worthy cause, can i throw this into the hat.
Lagans Foundation
This is a new and still relatively small charity that we (Helen, the wife, & Me) have become heavily involved with.
It's aim is to provide respite care for a few hours a week to parents of Children under 5 with Congenital Heart Defects (like Little Leon) and / or have feeding difficulties.
Helen has just set up the wakefield support group and they are having their first meeting this month.
As a new(ish) charity they still have not been able to secure any national funding, but have passed the Charity comissions audit with flying colours. It's a fairly unique service that they provide, and one that we would have been gratefull to use, if it had been around at the time we needed it.
Most, if not all of the volounteers are paernts who have been through similar circumstances, so having some-one else who understands what you are going through is priceless.
Helen is involved in the training of the volounteers in her professional capacity as an OT, but there are costs involved which the charity try to raise funds to cover. I've put a link below to the website. If anyone has any questions or would like to volonteer, give me a shout.
