Haven't read anywhere else but the audio interview that's posted on the first page, the interviewer asks him, would he ever fancy playing for England because he's qualified and tbh he was pretty noncommittal saying he wouldn't rule it out but would consider it if he was asked, from the way he was speaking it didn't sound he had given it a right lot of thought.

His dad was born in Southampton mate.

Just goes to show how things can appear totally different if taken out of context.
As Shifty says he was asked the question, to which he responded in an open ended kind of way.

He looks a fair unit does this kid and with SOO experience is a great signing for WTW.

Not a guy i know a great deal about but lets see how he goes. Looks a big guy who should go well but we've been here before with players come in with reputation and perform like damp squib.

But ay the thing is he came to the wildcats to play rugby and spend time with is English family, so whats wrong with that I have friends that go to work in oz for a year to see family at the same time, yes we have had a few players that as not worked out from oz, But this could work in our favour, he is here to see his Dad/family and even hinted he may play for England, if they pick him..??.
So I would say he is going to try and make his family be proud of him, and play his socks off...

A slightly worrying comment in todays "Express", it must have come out wrong 'cos this certainly wont be a holiday !

if you go to the wildcats site you can hear the interview, he's meaning he was ready for a change from the NRL, he needed to freshen up a little. comes across as a nice guy.
