| I might go to Batley or Dewsbury that week instead of going to the KC - it's bloody scandalous that they're sticking an extra few quid on for away supporters.

| Funny you should mention Batley, there was something said on the tannoy at the batley/wakey game the other week where wakefield season ticket holders get in on NRC fixtures for £5 and kids £1 is that correct as I've not seen anything official to back it up?

| Football prices this
Pearson is obviously looking at recouping his investment. I think prices like this in the current climate will backfire on away numbers attending.
People have choices and limited finances 4 adults is £100 without petrol etc and a bite to eat and a couple of pints
This may impact on Hulls revenue for all the wrong reasons.
problem for us is we can watch home games for around £7 with the ST offer. Going away at these prices for normal games will test out support travelling

| Wouldn't mind betting that next season the cost gets rounded up to a nice even £30
Think I'll vote with my feet and keep my money in my pocket that weekend.

| £23 to SIT in a modern stadium with good clean facilities, protected from the elements is a lot better value than £20 to stand on crumbling terraces open to all weathers at your hole of a ground.

| £23 is too much...£25 bought in advance is a -take, £27 on the day is not gonna happen.
My money will stay in my pocket that weekend.
Cheers Greedy Pearson!

Maybe so, but no Wakefield fan would be able to enter the KC with just £23 unless they were connected!! Maybe if Hull fans club together to donate £2 per Wakey fan then we just might have a deal

In these straightened times, you'll find that people will make a judgement of where to spend their money, or not, based on what they perceive represents best value; the bells and whistles of a modern football stadium, coupled with Adam Pearson's need to recoup his investment, may not be high on your average away supporters list of best value criteria.
Regardless of the condition of our stadium, the decision to skank away supporters by artificially inflating the cost to them may come back to bite Mr Pearson in the backside.

Why are Hull charging more for the away stand? - Surely they should be charging less, to get more fans in?
We also sit at Widnes, Huddersfield & Saints, and they're a lot cheaper than Hull.

Good question. Is there a qualitative difference between the north and south stand (apart from the company you keep, of course)?
In this day and age, I'm surprised that it's allowed, tbh. Unless there's some kind of membership scheme in operation for all Hull supporters, regardless of whether or not they're season ticket holders, why should away fans pay more? Does this happen at other grounds?`

No its not bubbba, you see Rugby league isnt about being segregated and a sterile atmosphere free stadium. Its about the whole gritty , down to earth experience, craic and generally enjoying the day out. The Boulevard had all this, Belle vue and Cas still have.
It will be a sad day for the sport when the last of the real stadia is replaced with one of the soulless concrete monstrocities we see popping up all over superleague .

£25 for adults, £19 for concessions & £14 for Juniors + Then the transport on the top... Really can't see there being a lot of away supporters travelling to Hull this season!

Assuming Hull fans pay less, and that away fans are obliged to sit in a certain area of the ground, the point is whether or not the Hull club are entitled to charge away fans more for attending, and basically "enjoying" the same facilities, unless there's some sort of qualitative difference. At the very least, it should be an issue the club(s) take(s) up with the RFL.

| The thing is, there is no segregation at the KC either. If you were to attend a Hull derby game(not that you would have any reason to) you would find HKR fans sat in all unreserved sections of the stadium.
Most away fans tend to sit together in the North stand, but there is no rule to say you have to.

| Does this mean they're increasing on the 27th for our game only or from the 27th onwards for all their games? I've never heard of such a thing and reading their site and ours there are 2 different sets of prices. I really want to go to this game but it's a principal thing here, I'm torn between backing the club I love and being ripped off, what a dilemma. Am gonna have to sleep on this for a while zzzzzzzzz
