Agree with you Feline, in our group we are about 50/50 with s/t and pay as you go.
Probably the best aspect of BV is the lack of segregation and freedom to watch the game wherever you choose.
This will of course change when NM becomes home, but we can deal with that when it happens.

The reason Belle Vue is the least atmospheric ground in SL is because we are all spread out. A roof on the western terrace with all the trinity loyal under it and the atmosphere at belle Vue will be brilliant + the roof over the north bank will keep the away fans happy

I don't see it as segregation as you will be able to sit/stand wherever you wish in the ground with the exception of the West Terrace which will be for Wakefield members only if the Club go along with this.

They are canvassing the views of supporters - do you want an area where Wakefield fans can get together or do you wish to leave it as it is.

Many on here have said that it would be great if there was a part of the ground where fans could get together, with a roof over it and make some noise. The Club are asking whether you want it or not.

Yes I think the terrace having a roof over it will be a good idea but would rather people could come and go into there as they please. The point I was trying to make was that if say a season ticket holder comes to a game with a silver member a bronze and a one off visitor they will then not be able to go in there if its a members only area . I wonder how they get over that a H KR . There may also be the practicalities of all those who are not allowed in the touchline bar then going back and forth across the tunnel area to get access to Cats/ Trinity Bar it may get a bit congested. \so I would say roof a good idea but access for all maybe necessary.

I am a gold member and work shifts other members of my family are silver and bronze members mainly due to work commitments by excluding people based on the type of membership is flawed in this are IMHO

I think it's a good idea. By having a special area with a bar (maybe kids stuff as well like face painting etc) that is just for season ticket holder sit gives added value to the tickets and should hopefully make more buy them.

I agree that ticket holders should be allowed in other areas though incase they come with others etc.

could make it gold (and silver?) members + tickets available from the club shop in advance so that the more casual fans could get access.

Keep expressing your opinions, that's what the Club want so they can deliver what the fans want.

Problem with this idea is if season ticket holders bring a newby, or if some fans can only make a few games then they will stand elsewhere in the ground lose out on experiencing the atmosphere that could get the new fan hooked. If we are to go down this route it should be available to all season ticket holders/members and those members should have the option to purchase Western Terrace specific tickets a couple of times a year to help attarct new fans.

I would love to see this stand as a Wakefield Fans only area. It would be so nice to get a real atmosphere going inside our ground. I would be quite intimidating for the away players as well as a great feeling for our players and really inspire them.

We should not make this a season ticket / Gold / Silver or Bronze Membership only area though. Anyone should be allowed access as long as they Follow Wakey.

i hate the idea of a stand that excludes non season ticket holders (or members), and by definition away fans. one of the biggest things that the game has going for it is the friendly rivalry and interaction between different sets of fans. read these boards and time and time again you'll see the very people that want a "trinity fans only area" say how much they enjoyed interacting with other fans at away games.

i also bring friends to games, as do the people i stand with. they also bring their kids/grandkids and their mates. what a shame to break up what makes our game so special by introducing segregation.

natural segregation will always be there, but so will the person that likes to stand on the halfway, or behind the sticks, or mates from other teams that we see twice a year, and personally i think grounds that are open to all are the best.

I agree with the salient points regarding the different 'types' of supporter not being able to stand together and in essence it seems like a reasonable idea that the club have floated. However, is the exclusivity really necessary? I don't stand on the Western terrace so could some of you 'commoners'

highlight how many 'away' supporters actually stand in the aforementioned area?
I usually concentrate on the viewing of on-field matters and don't usually crowd watch

but from the perspective of my failing eye sight the area is only occupied by WT fans

I like this idea, not the idea of members/season ticket holders only though. Perhaps a members only bar, but on the day fans shouldn't be denied entry to what will be our best stand.

If people who have supported Trinity for 30 years or more ,can you remember the south stand and what a great match atmosphere it gave.Best atmosphere I have ever known at Belle vue and I have been going for over 60 years.

I am a gold member,our lass a silver and the young un a gold so will this mean we may not be able to stand together?
RL promotes itself as a family sport where opposing fans can stand side by side without fear of trouble and this is going totally against it,people should be able to stand where they want.
It can still be a mainly Wakey stand without silly rules(Cas have got WR end,Leeds have got South Stand)so for me its a no.
Maybe make the bar members only but thats about it.

I think as others have said maybe just covering it and encouraging those who are more vocal to stand there would be the best idea rather than making it more exclusive. As already covered cas have the wre and few away fans go in that end. I guess it would be the same at Belle Vue as most away fans seem to stand behind the sticks.
