Very loud booing from Hull fans when the PA announced the Ref before kick-off but none was heard after the game, or during the last 70 minutes.

Always stuck up for JC in the past but the man doesn't ever look for forward passes, offsides or flops.

It lets the game flow but Hull were more guilty than us.

No offence taken or intended. Like I said I was watching what was left of the game, and as tempting as leaving for a beer early was, we stayed until the end.
Soundly beaten, but I thought he reduced our second half to a frustrating and faltering end and I firmly believe he was the reason for our late demise.
Great to see a huge fc turnout, and fingers crossed we'll see you next year.

this is coming from a hull fan, he doesent deserve to be a SL referee, he's terrible, when we played cas he was even more shocking. he was cruel to wakefield and he didnt know what he was doing

The ref was poor today but he was not the reason we lost today - any trin fan who thinks we lost because of childs is a deluded fool.....

Don't think anyone would say that he's the reason we lost (nor why we lost at MM, for one), but the issue is that he's scarily inept for the top level regardless.

Regardless of our ineptitude, Mr Child is NOT a SL standard referee.

If he is as highly regarded as a top grade ref why doesnt he get the wigan saints or any other of the top derbies like your other top refs get ?
Because he would get exposed for what he is an inept touch judge who would like to be a ref !
