Same here and they are doing very well so far ! If they could get promotion this season then they are only 1 division from being in the Football League - Division 2 alongside clubs like Bradford City etc !

I'm always particularly impressed by their flat management structure and passion for the 'Clipper way' - it's earned them an impressive reputation for entrepeneurial agility and a responsive 'can-do' attitude.

Personally, I wouldn't look anywhere else for my logistics and warehousing requirements.

Would be a massive shot in the arm for the SL franchise bid. One thing the RFL will never do despite there total incompetence in most areas is turn there back on a potential money man.

Indeed it would make things very interesting come July. Should the Steve Parkin rumour be true it won't be quite the foregone conclusion we were all expecting.

Not too sure about that, they turned away Steve O'Connor because Widnes had just been in administration despite an offered £500k bond. Could still be looking at a stint in the Championship if the RFL are consistent in how they look at these situations. Someone has to come out so who will it be? Can't see them increasing the number of SL clubs as 15 wont work with the Magic weekend and 16 wont work because they'll not want to dilute the pot of gold. Coaches and players are already saying that they play too many games. Interesting times ahead.

Looks very promising lets hope this is true and is the start of a bright new era for the club.

Gary Glitter is looking to invest in another sports club by all accounts. Apparently with a front line of Young Bent and possibly Keane Aston Villa have caught his eye.

The RFL have been fairly quiet of late, no threats, no promises.
Part of me hopes that it was Ted and his mismanagement that the RFL want shut of and not one of it's oldest member clubs.
I wonder if they're stalling for time to see what's going on and what state we are in mid season before making up their minds.
We are at rock bottom just at the minute, but within 6 months we could be a totally different prospect, if this takeover comes off and if we end up with a much shorter inquiry than people expect what with the bespoke timescale thingy.
A reinvigorated Wakefield Trinity with backing and a show piece stadium giving a sustainable future, would take a lot of dislodging from SL, and with a successful up and coming Football League club all thrown into the bargain, what a boost to sports fans and the city.
