To be fair the problems the club face would be the same for anyone who took over unless they were a multimillionaire who could pay the tax bill whilst maintaining a supposedly competitive SL squad.

agreed, we made our bed a year ago with the first tax bill, made mistakes with recruitment and retention pre season and now we are stuffed.

I don't agree; in business, surely your tax bill shouldn't be a surprise? If the organisation is run in a vaguely competent way, the financial forecast that happens at the start of the tax year and is revised each month based on actual performance, should include provision for paying taxes.

Bob on. As good a player as he has been in the past, and maybe good be again, he'd need a decent team around him to pull the right strings. There were flashes in the second half against Cas when he first signed, but he couldn't work miracles.

Hmrc is the person you, not players, coaches or family members etc. You pay them first as that money isn't yours and never was.

Agree with letting them go. Hope we replace them with people who want to play for the club. I think that latu will be missed, but only for his occasional enthusiam

i hope so because i thought he was our best prop last year and i think he deserves a new contract.

perhaps or seems to have buckled down to it.i think he became a bit complacent at hull,thinking he was there for life!! he also had problems keeping out of a well known pub near the kc stadium.financially,he had problems too,which given the money he has earned over the years,is a bloody shame,but he kept the bookies in plenty of business!!!! apparently didnt see much of his testimonial money!!!!! was also trying to sell his 05 cup final medal a cpl of months back!!!!

Latu has put some effort in, not always to great effect.

Johnson has been decidedly average IMO in all bar about 2 games.

I spoke with Rinaldi after the match on Sunday and asked if he was with us next year. He said that he was. I asked if it was confirmed and he said that it was.
