I wasn't having a go.. i was saying, i don't see a reason to drop obst for having a bad game as he can be dangerous. Id have him as an interchange with Drew rather than at standoff.

So do you drop Latu? That's where it gets difficult with our squad - all the quality is in 3 potisions - with not enough spread around, especially in the back line at the moment, not enough pace for a decent side - although I did rate Atkins very highly today!

Plenty of quality there at scrum half and hooker. But not a quality stand off between them. Ok so Martin has done a job but thats about it, He has come in from centre to cover at stand off and done a decent job but he is not a quality stand off.

Like TRB says we seem to be out of balance.

Bang on the money. Seems some people think its ok for him to have no fire/desire, no intent to smash people out of his way and be last back in line of defence because he "is one of the youngsters". I thought he got paid to do a job. He has got a chance to make a name/future for himself and he is wasting it.

you need a prop forward WHO ACTUALLY wants to take the ball up i see non of this from kyle he hangs back and loiters and needs telling its his turn or he wont do it the only thing on his side for me is time

In my opinion Drews does not seem to be fully fit and his defence has not been up to scratch in the last few games. Also, he is not running much at all from dummy half (which is where he gives us a threat, this may be something to do with us not winning the ruck, or because he is not fully fit), but either way at present I would give him a rest

Kyle does ok, yes he's still a young lad and yes thats no excuse but he needs experience and support from the bigger forwards.

Your right, but unfortunatly we haven't had any other props to do the job until possibly next week. He isn't one to give up on but I think he's best used in the 21s for now and spelled every now and then. Ask any coach etc and they'll tell you a prop doesnt peak till 28 etc, kyles got years ahead of him yet.
