Seriously I thought he was pretty consistent at a few handling errors and a few pieces of magic each game.
IMO on the field he was the one that saved us, and got us too the play off's the days of solomona to domic to semi are some of the days i wont forget soon, one of the best left sided attacks ive seen us have in our recent past.'"
Yep he knew how to put wing/centres into the gaps.

| Sol did a good job for us, winning us a few games. Remember the 'Hand of Sol' try at Wigan?
Disappointed in the way he left, but he's gone, move on. Sure I'll give him a bit of light hearted stick if needs be, but nothing other than that.

| I notice Sol says in the T & A that his shoulder "is not 100%", I wonder if McNamara will take the gamble of playing him, not a decision I`d like to make, could backfire bigtime.

| Im over the whole Solomona incident, we have done fairly nicely without him and he is just an opposition player to me.
We as a club have moved on from him.

| If we can wind him up all well and good ets just hope it's the Solo who off loads stupidly in his own 20 rather than the Solo who tears teams apart.

| He seemed to injure his shoulder again in one of the tackles where he knocked on. Not a great match from Sol but he was blatantly not 100%.

He's not been for most of the time he's played for us - and especially since his Kiwi mates moved on. Pretty clear he was brought back too early today.

| I could see at the start of the second half he didn’t look remotely interested in the game today and looked very uncomfortable when in possession, leading to the knock on and subsequent aggravation to the shoulder injury. It was a plus for Trinity as a fully fit (which I don’t think he has ever been while in SL) Solomona could’ve been the difference between a two teams playing well below par.

| I for one refuse to give the man stick anyway. Im sure there are plenty of fans on here who missed several games. Ive missed around 6 wakey games in 6 years and when It was cold freezing and we were getting hammered the man was a joy to watch doing the tricks and when he had gutless players like Jeffereies around him giving suicide balls out he did what he could. Few circumstances why he left, but he allways wanted to do well for Trin. People have short memories playing the relegation decider against cas with a ruptured bicep 'he wasn't a lazy fat man then was he? This is what people seem to call him'. He is a class act and it was great to have a player of that calibre at our club we were lucky to get such a player at that current time. Every time I see him I tell him he was great for us but he is allways very modest and he plays down his talents. Remember the egg out of the chicken try away to wigan ha ha ??

The phrase causing an argument in an empty house springs to mind here.
Nobody has slated Solo on here. Its just one or two offering their opinions on the merits of bringing him back too soon and his non contribution to yesterdays game,

Having not yet completed a full match this season I think Bulls are taking a huge risk if they do play him at Wakey and it could actually work in our favour.'"
Unfortunately it seems my concerns were proved founded, Steve Mac clearly is an under pressure coach that is willing to take dangerous, short-sighted gambles.
