In some way it would be logical to sell TJ now, it would probably benefit the club and almost certainly benefit him. I'm not advocating it but there is logic.

Also in truth, Kershaw is a far better fit for us these days. He will run all day and just get stuck in for nothing like the cash. He will be what Trinity seems to want, a forward on the wing. I like Kershaw by the way and he's a decent winger but he ain't TJ and in a way that works.

I said at the beginning of the 2021 season that we desperately needed 2 big and powerful front rowers. At the time I suggested 2 very young Wakefield lads, Ben Kilner who is 6’5” and 17.5 st and Jon Luke Kirby who is 6’4” and 17 st

Neither we’re figuring at Wigan or Huddersfield at the time and we could have made a loan bid or even a transfer for both, it just needed someone at the club to open their eyes and show some interest in recruitment.

Ben has now retired mainly due to his lack of 1st team opportunities but I’m sure if someone had valued him and spoken to him about the opportunity at Trinity he may well have given his home town team a go.
Jon is almost ready for a comeback after an acl rupture and might well be an option on loan once his fitness is proven but again, someone needs to have the nouse to go looking.

Im convinced that a strong front row that has size and energy is the key for getting much improved performances from the rest of the team.

Don't let him troll you, Roberts has been e and wouldn't get near the side and OB wouldn't make first 17 either when all fit. I wouldn't be worried of relegation on that performance if i were a Wakefield fan, with that intensity and low error rate you shoudl easily beat Touoluse who really aren't superleague standard and only got gifted points by Saints who obviously feel like they have to be charitable to expansion sides. I actually felt it was a good game, not pretty but very intense and not many errors. You do lack go forward for sure, and that's your big worry and yes you will get rolled by the sides with huge packs, but Toulouse isn't one of them, expect you to win comfortable over there.
