I don't buy into the fact that him staying until October will lead to a lack of commitment. Look at his performances For Cas in the NL play offs, committed and professional to the end. This despite been committed to Wakey for the next few years. Last season we had an excellent finish to the season ( Play off game excepted), this was achieved with excellent performances from players who were heading else where in the new season. If Danny was to stay I would expect him to still produce the level of performance we come to expect of him.

Regardless of what the Huddersfield fans think, we're in a very strong position regarding negotiations. Hudds clearly have been trailing him for some time, they woant to ensure they get their man before other teams are allowed to talk to him. The club has stated in public Hudds are talking to them but the deal must be right. Other clubs interested in Brough will enquire and therefore press Hudds into concluding a deal.

If no deal is agreed, we keep a decent player and then the auction begins and probably Huddersfield lose out. Win win in my opinion

It's been a pleasure watching DB wear the RWB although he has never fully reached his potential with us. Alway's remember talking with Toppo on many occasions and him being so frustrated with the lad in that he had so much more talent than he actually gave us, and he used to tell him as well. Good luck to the him I'll still enjoy watching the lad.There's not many like him in the game that's for sure.
