So my nephew who has just got a job and now resides down in Basingstoke, and is a big Trin fan, won't be able to stand with the rest of us in the North stand, if he comes up home for the weekend, even though he will be coming with my bro ??

No. It's not.

The Championship season doesn't start until mid March so it will be interesting to see what crowds we get for the early cup games when neither competition will be eligible for season ticket use.

I’ve been watching the club for nearly 50 years and have never seen anything quite like this.

I've been in the shop today and it's still very busy selling season tickets. We may hit the 5000, totally unbelievable.

In the past 50 years 98, 2000 & 2006 apart we’ve built up expectations and attracted stay away fans to come back only to put on a shi…terrible show and send them all home disappointed.

The trick now, Championship or not, is to play some attractive Rugby League, show some togetherness with the fans and most of all win matches, maybe even Cups. If we’re going to have 5000 maybe 6000 people attending we need to get them hooked for life!

Hopefully gives more time to see if anyone drops out of the NRL or SL of quality that’ll fit well for us before the season starts.

Challenge Cup, no, but there was talk of including the 1895, as these are the games used to generate the "extra" games to create a full fixture list.

That's why I'm asking - where has anyone seen anything definitive?

On the ‘what you get’ blurb when purchasing it only mentions entry to all regular championship games, the 1895 cup isn’t mentioned.

Cougars, for example, state 2 1895 games are included.

(CC games aren't because that funds the RFL Levy.)

I'd suggest we would (hopefully), be the same.

Workington Town also state 1895 pool games are included.

Not sure how that works, considering cup games gate receipts are shared between both clubs, The income would be considerably reduced if season ticket holders had free entry for the cup games.

With the "competitive" pricing on season tickets, I've no issue with paying for cup games as an "add on".

I was under the impression the 1895 Cup group games will be played at the lower-seeded clubs, so might not matter until the QFs anyway. Also read there'd be geographical considerations to how each group was sorted too - so away days in Doncaster and Hunslet, for example, would be more like pre-season games

Pretty sure cup games not included. The club's identified are division 1 clubs who under the 1895 ethos will be at home against championship clubs. I assume that's why they may have included it in their offer. Not sure 1895 gates are split ala Challenge Cup.
