A thumb fracture isn’t too bad either. Quite a clear timeline, can stay fit, and doesn’t knock your confidence too much. He should slot straight back in. Feel for Scott, he was looking great. But once we’ve got a SR back we can move Hall into that centre spot and we should be fine. I get what people are saying about Hall not being a world beater, but I do think he’s got massive improvement in him and he just stalled a bit.

Seth's out for 8 weeks and Scott is nursing a torn hamstring, so hopefully he can recover and get back on the pitch sooner than later. Like you say anymore and we're running into trouble already which is a bit crazy tbh.

It’s not so much we can’t cover but more the loss of a player who was looking dangerous for us on that right edge. Scott looks the business and I was really looking forward to seeing Storton, Scott, Walmsley grow together on that edge. It will happen and I’m sure Scott will slot into place in a few weeks.

Tickets selling well, 700 sold through the shop with a week to go. As well as more sold online through the rhinos site. Should be a good following from us and a good attendance overall

This would be mine after thinking about it: 1. Jowitt 2. Walmsley 3. Pratt 4. Hall 5. Johnstone 6. Trueman 7. Lino 8. Mckmeeken 9. Hood 10. Rodwell 11. Storton 12. Croft 13. Pitts 14. Russell 15. Uele 16. Faatili 17. Vagana Id save Doyle and Atoni for KR with a 5 day turn around, I’d spell Vagana and Croft a bit so they’re both fresher for KR. Tbh very little would change from that team today. I have confidence that they can go to Leeds and put in a professional performance and hopefully come back with 2 points.

Many mentions of how good Lino, Storton and Scott have been in pre season, I agree they have been fabulous. Just wanted to mention how well Croft has played, he has really shone and I think would well deserve his place in the 17 for Leeds. Was speaking to a very experienced Rugby man who has over the years had a huge amount of experience signing and retaining players, he made the point that for the first time in a generation we are now in a position where we can have patience with young players, young players with obvious talent develop at different rates. It will be brilliant if Croft and Shaw come through this season and nail down starting positions. Likewise Vagana obviously has talent but is likely to need time, he is young and we are now in a position to give him time and hopefully reap rewards.

I think SR suits him. He's always been a big lad but he's definitely pack some pounds up top.
