I do feel at times that although we like this 'family club' feel, the players can almost be too accessible to the point where supporters think they are 'friends' with them and start to distrust anything to club do 'against' them. That can never be a good thing, there should be some seperation between professional sportsmen and those who pay to watch them.

i have stated elsewhere in this thread i dont know jay , what i do know is that he was given little option in staying and you seem to be clued up in the fact he was offered something but i think we both know that it was not adequate. Jay would of stayed if he was given a fair deal . you can telephone jay and ask him whether or not he was happy at Wakefield and if he saw his long term future at the club.

i have more of a rep for backing the club and teddy boy but we all have a limit . Something stinks a lot worse than the pitts saga . Players going on loan others on their way out at the end of the season all rumours of course but what i have said on this subject is what i know if that upsets some then you need to deal with the fact that the good ship wakey might be springing leaks .
