Not sure what to make of this really. Korki was taken as a project by Brown at the beggining of the season in the hope that we could get him down to his fighting weight, get his confidence back and turn him back to the player he was. Well he lost the weight and got some games but has failed to re-discover that form.

I think he has lost his mojo in the same way players like fielden and thorman have done, i dont expect him to be able to get it back. In that respect if all he was going to do for us was the odd 15 mins in the odd game it might be a decent bit of business.

I must say though i have always regarded Sculthorpe as talented but a bit dull and stupid in his decision making on the pitch. Sounds like he may be a bit of a disruptive soul as well but I am prepared to say welcome Danny and good luck.

Too many, however with Blanch out for the season, technically the numbers will remain the same.

Back on topic, playing wise I am sad to see Sculthorpe go as despite NGB4C protestations he has been one of the better forwards of recent weeks. However, no matter how good a player is, if they disrupt the team then the club will be better of without them.

Korkidas is like Marmite. I was a fan of his while he was last at Wakefield but also realised his limitations as a player. He is one dimensional and is replacing a prop who is able to create as well as make the hard yards. However, if the rumours of legal action and poor attitude towards the young players are true then I would rather have the one dimensional team player in the squad.

Things are pretty poor at the moment so it’s a gamble worth taking IMO.

He does add the much needed size we need in the pack and makes the pack look a bit more stacked now with Stosic, Bibey, Moore, Wilkes, Ferguson, JD, Snitch, Bibb, Pitts, Hendo and our pack doesn't look too bad at all!

Reminds me of Newcastle bringing back Kevin Keagan. Positive PR but a bit of a gamble playing wise.

Win win as far as i'm concerned. Sculthorpe was obviously not going to play for us again. If Korkidas doesn't work out well that's no big deal as it's only 13 games.

I think the initial problem with MK will be him trying too hard to please and as a consequence the mistakes will happen, think he needs to be eased back in - don't try any big hits or over ambitious 'charges' (for at least the first 5 mins

Danny Sculthorpe will love it at Hudds as they allow their players a drop of alcoholic beverage on their bus journeys.

Brian Noble also allows the players to have a drink on away games but i'm sure thats only when they win.
