If it is true there isn't an issue but of course the IF is the problem.
If you don't know for sure you are risking being the cause of a disaster rather than reporting it.

However, it is clearly just a mistake on Bazzo's part. It's not like he is trying to take the club down.
The people accusing him of not having the club at heart are simply jumping on a band wagon with no real insight into his motives. Think that needs to be let go before we go all Lond of the Flies here.

I'm not justifying anyones actions here, i would advocate that people have the right to free speech where appropriate, i dont think the Op of the locked thread has broken any laws etc
The argument that posting such comments could be viewed as harmful to the club is valid, but so could (if true) some of the many other rumours that hit these boards, as could the clubs perceived practises of runnining up ccj's.
The day we cant ask questions if we have a ligitimate concern is the day we might as well all pack up!!!

Indeed, despite the general blasé responses from the club the Winding up order and the numerous CCJ’s now marked against Trinity will do far more damage then title tattle on a forum.

Well as an outsider and despite the apparent acrimony around Monday night's game I sincerely hope all of this talk is nothing more than that. We really need teams that are sustainable (or as near to that as possible) and we certainly need teams with tradition. Lets all hope that this is just smoke and there's no fire. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Just accept that there is a very very slight chance that you are wrong and someone else may just know more than you. I know it's hard but it's a lot easier than trying to re justify your position on a weekly basis.

This is absolutely it in a nutshell and something you just cant see, I'm nobody's friend when it comes to administration of the club is concerned nor should anyone be, I'm all for the guy doing whats best for the club, there is no loyalty to any man - just the club.

So the thread that was locked and deleted has, in the end, just been transferred to this one; I guess that was inevitable.

I spoke to someone involved with the club about this issue yesterday - he was dismayed that fans would start a rumour that could, in his view, be extremely damaging to the club; for example, player negotiations, potential sponsors, ST sales - all could be affected by rumours of admin, as these are people making long term investments in WTW - something they may be less likely to do if there is talk of impending demise.

As Sally Bercow recently found out, there is a difference between something that the public is interested in, and something that is in the public interest; at this stage, a non-story like this falls firmly into the former category. I'm all for a bit of rumour-mongering around player movements and such, but this one, for me, is beyond the pale.
