It would only work if there was a fully automated entry system, where the software could merely refuse entry to a season ticket where payments hadn't been made. As it is, chasing failed direct debits against someone who has the pass in their possession is never going to work.

The season ticket DOES include the top/middle 8 as per last season.

HKR have the system in place because at the 8s game away a KR fan was having a right go at the ticket office staff due to a payment overdue,through abuse and his ticket at the poor girl and stormed off a bit embarassing for him and the staff.

Whoops - I should have kept my gob shut there; I didn't actually buy a ST this year, so I paid on the gate for all the games I attended. That'll learn me.

They could put a stop on a lost card easy enough apparently, but if the whole thing isn't integrated then it is very admin heavy. I'm sure the club would want to offer this service if it was practical and it ensures money keeps coming in.

If not , how are perspective season ticket buyers going to able to see if this offer is good value .

It's fair to say that match day prices wont be less than this season so, do the maths

11 regular season games plus, 3 (or maybe 4) super/middle 8 games

14 x £22 = £308, so the season ticket is a bargain !

Although you may miss an odd game, the other benefits/discounts still make it worth while and you get priority for cup final tickets

If both our maths are correct then match day saving will be £94 !!

If I was marketing these tickets I would adjust the price difference so it was £101 and then advertise the fact what a huge saving
could be gained by buying your ticket now. People won't mess around doing the maths but splash the huge £101 saving infront of their Face and they will be more tempted to take on the offer. In my humble opinion of course.

I think £94 is plenty.
The club will make more money out of the match day customers but, many fans buy season tickets through loyalty and for convenience.
Of course there is a saving but, the main thing is to get down and watch the games and bring someone with you to boost the numbers

The savings are in relation to what it would cost to pay on the gate for each game not relative to last years ST prices
