Just no enthusiasm from us, bar a handful of players (Anderson, Scruton, Simon). Even in the first half we didn't look to get out of first gear, even though we looked in control of the game Leigh gifted us the majority of our points. Second half Leigh showed they wanted it but again we regressed further into going through the motions. Not suprising the crowds are getting bad, even when we're on a bad run you can see there's fight in the team. Unfortunately that seems to have gone this season. Why Godinet wasn't playing was a mystery?!

Never so much as broke sweat , plodded about at walking speed all day. Looks v unfit to me, either that or just no interest.

I cringed when this happened, just another insight into how much of a farce this club is.

So since he left Hull it's not possible he became a better player - grow up - he did and deserves a better gig than we give him.

You just dread the implosion point every game. 24 - nil and Riley can't take the kick off. Leigh get the lift that the 6 points offered just before half time.
Then the revitalised Leigh backs ran us ragged in that second half.

I've read all the posts and as usual after seeing a loss like the one today they are full of emotion and baying for blood but the sad thing is I can't find anything to counter what is being said and have to agree with just about all of it. This once great club is a poor image of its glory days and recovery seems impossible but unless we get a different coach and have a team willing to earn their pay I can't see a way out of this

This is the worst 'team' (and i use the term lightly) i have ever seen in 40 years at Belle Vue. On paper they are ok but there is no desire, no heart and no leadership whatsoever. They are sullying the name and are not fit to be wearing the shirt. I am ashamed and embarrassed to say i am a Wakefield fan tonight, that is how far we have fallen. Webster must go, so must the backroom staff. And when MC has done his job there he should publically announced that he will sell for a pound and see if there is any interest. If there isn't then we will be soon reading the last rites.

I know you've had injuries but that team looks good on paper. Confidence is huge and winning from defeat / defeat from winning can become a habit. To break the habit..?change.

We were pathetic in the 2nd half and Leigh just blew us away.

Their half backs and hooker had a field day once they realised they could do what they wanted and would be put under no pressure whatsoever.

Kick pressure and kick chase non existent as was moving up in defence. All basics but we are incapable of doing them, whether that's coaching, fitness or desire or a combination of them all I don't know exactly, but it is a major part of our problems

Apparently Webester's said (from the Beeb) at half time thatthe team had to expect an onslaught and defence would be they key.
I think I'd have been saying do the basics right. Nothing fancy.
Drives from the forwards and a good kick chase. Cut out the pens . 3 men in the tackle.

It's amazing how the pedulum swung in the 2nd half and Wakey's confidence just got shot to pieces.

Didn't see that 2nd half coming at all......We (Leigh) were awful 1st half, but having said that, Wakey, just weren't making any mistakes. But after that 10 minute spell when it was 12 v 12, it was a totally different game. But at 22-0 & 24-6, we shouldn't have been allowed back in the game. Obviously I'm delighted at our comeback, but you had this game won. See Catalans & Widnes nearly slipped up also....amazing performance by Fev especially, and Batley.
