You lot are just dying for Glasshoughtion to fail, a development that cas are trying to fund and get done through hard work and enterprise, while pinning your own future on a scrounged community stadium . I would sooner achieve a stadium through said hard work and ultimately own it than rely on being given one .

Whats your problem with us looking at being tenants in a Community Stadium. We have accepted that we cannot fund our own stadium (like many other teams in SL who do not own their own grounds but rent them) and so have gone down the route we have. Its is not someting for nowt as you put it as we will pay rent. You believe you can raise the millions required to fund a privately owned stadium that will be yours, not a community stadium.

We have chosen different routes. Best of luck with raising the funding required and as I have said I genuinely hope we both achieve our goals.

There is a chemical dump down there - FACT. How that affects that site / your site / the councils plans for that end of Cas, is another - and frankly I have little knowledge of that. What I do know is that WMDC and yourselves are both hoping for a swift end to the problem and are both working towards that end.

Just remember the ground is open for all of the district's teams it's just us that choose to take advantage of it. Considering it's excellent location and the Cas funding crisis it would be wise for Dickie to swallow his pride and come aboard.

Can I take that it is set in stone then that Cas will not at anytime be using NM assuming it gets built?

I believe that Castleford have formally rejected the opportunity to share Newmarket and are going it alone at Glasshoughton.

Not worried at all dee, if you have read any of my posts you will see that I am more worried about the implications of either team getting a new ground and then being cut loose by the s at red hall when another expansion experiment is coming on board.
