What I took from it was that Ted made a statement that was candid and honest, and disclosed much more than he needed to, because he could have just said that he has entered into an IVA and then given an assurance that it would have no effect on the club. He didn't. He gave the full facts, regardless of any personal embarrassment he might have felt, presumably because he knew that fans would see a potential problem and wanted to provide reassurance and an explanation. Every credit to him.

And I don't know Ted, or TRB, and I've only spoken to Vasty once (and he was surprisingly pleasant!).

I agree with Kinsley hes had his reign hes made a lot of money from player transfers not really kicked on. His best appointment in his reign was and still is John Kear. If I was Ted I would put the club up for sale and give someone else a go but shareholders and staff need to agree on who is right and gives us a secure future in hopefully our new ground. I agree at the minute we're not an attractive proposition. I might be in the minority but i think Ted has done alright with what must be a challenging club to run. Obviously there are area's in which we can improve but on the whole i think he's doing well and he obviously cares.

As the club is always late in calling the A.G.M, how many shareholders are required to be able to call for an E.G.M ? Anybody know how our other major shareholder Brian Eccles is healthwise as I know he has not been in the best of health in recent years. I understand that he is not as close to Ted in their business relationship as previously.Has his indisposition allowed too much control of the club to be in the hands of one major shareholder ?

Certainly time to put the feelers out IMO and see if anyone is out there willing to step forward.

TR has taken us as far as he can IMO and we now need to hope there is someone who can raise the bar and take us to that next level. It's a critical time for the club and I think we need to act very fast to try and get someone else in.

Trinity haven't received all of it, but what they have has been reinvested into the club. Alternatively if you want to go down the conspiracy road then it's all been pocketed and spent on M&S suits.

You have more spin than alister cambell in a washing machine. Reinvested, you mean swallowed up to pay of the tax man etc etc.

Reinvested is reinvested, I’m not party to the exact whereabouts, but if it was used to pay off existing debt, maintenance of the ground, the play squad or tax bills (etc etc) then it's been reinvested into to the club. Of course to see it that way requires one to be without an agenda, especially one so transparent.
