| I was disappointed with Cc'd comments after one of the Catalan game's, in which he said we had a 'very young fringe in Croft, Jowitt and Hampshire'.
For me that doesn't cut it, Jowitt has been dicked about and Hampshire should know what to do at 26, Croft is the only inexperienced one.
Time to give Bailey a go and drop Miller.

| To keep Egg Banjo off CCs back, would he have preferred it if we had gone for the 2 points when we got a penalty in front of the posts ?
The enthusiasm was there tonight but not the skill level ( the first 15 minutes was one of the best starts we`ve had all season ) Rugby mainly comes down to money and as a supporter of Wakefield that is something we don`t have in abundance, in fact the spine of of the wire team probably matched the whole of the Trinity team that went out on to the pitch at the kick off. The coaching staff can only pick from the fit players he has on the books.

That's an acceptable excuse for an Under 8s team, it's not acceptable for highly paid full time professional sportsmen who are playing in the top flight league in the northern hemisphere.
They shouldn't be lacking skill, if they are, they shouldn't be playing in this league. What they are lacking is fitness, discipline, and organisation, and all of those come from the coaching culture.

| If we had players of the calibre of Warrington like Ratchford , Charnley, Austin , Widdop, Clark etc. I would use your excuse , but like I wrote before Money counts towards successful teams and Wakefield do not have it like other clubs in superleague.

That's OK then, we'll just given them all a participation medal then shall we? Why expect professional players to have the basic skills needed to do their job when Trinity fans will reward them for just turning up

If that's the case then why don't you sod off and come back when he's gone, I'm not too sure though that it's his intention to get the club relegated.

you kind of made a valid point there, struggling to get points on the board in two games now I would say has blown confidence away, we've seen games before start slow and ended up kicking first to get points moving so why not now, always been a believer of being in front whether its a point or a dozen

| The injuries which we have occurred over the last 2 seasons has been atrocious. That said it does not completely excuse the clearly declining performances over 18 months. We were already one dimensional in attack constantly relying on Johnstone and tupou to create magic, we have had no other solid threats for a while now. Nobody can say we didn’t try yesterday, but we clearly lack creativity in the opponents 40, with our last tackle options being nothing short of embarrassing. Our kicking game is atrocious and consistently lose momentum as we give them easy metres. Our defence also now looks deflated allowing Warrington to roll up field 70/80 metres after a 20 metre restart which is just a killer. I’m just fed up like most on here of seeing a club I love constantly going on a huge dip after having a couple of decent seasons.

LOL. I might even give you the coaching thing. You clearly have a good rep from how people talk about you....... But Carter leaving would mean you had no team to coach pretty quickly.

I know Hull had a decent win today but after getting rid of Radford they still shipped in over 50 against Salford so jury still out on that one...
Likewise in the NRL Brisbane got shut of their coach after an horrific season only to get another hammering.
Even the Chester outers must admit he’s having some horrific luck!
To be without 8 backs pre game and lose another two in it...to lose Pitts and Fifita to things totally out of his control and have to play Warrington on their home patch...a game no coach in the world past or present would have coached us to win!'"

He’s a professional moaner, and a very good one. Comes out of the woodwork whenever the club has a bad patch, has no perception of support and loyalty. In other words, “a waste of spacel”

| Yeah, notice there was no reply...because it’s the biggest load of rubbish argument going is that...if I did the same in my job I’d get sacked...what a load of nonsense!
It’s ok for anyone in any different job to go and do their job when everything is good and all your tools are in tact, you can go and do the job well.
Just say as an example you work in a warehouse...
You’ve a team of 20 workers and you have 5,000 orders to complete on shift.
First three days of the week all is good and you hit your targets.
4th day...4 people ring in sick, two of the four fork lift trucks that have been fine for the first three days stop working so you can only use two...you’re already 4 people down and an hour into the shift there’s an accident and one of the workers has to be taken to hospital, so you’re another two staff down.
Next thing there’s a problem with the computers and orders aren’t coming off like they should be...
Boss calls you in at the end of the shift...right you’ve only managed 2.500 orders this shift you’re sacked...

Think 4 wins,or is it 5 in 27 games and blaming injury is a poor excuse for panic buying of past it S L player's .No point in blaming Mr Carter he as saved the club but is been taken in by poor coaches with plenty of excuses

| I wouldn't say its Chester out as of yet, we are clearly doing it tough at the moment with some key personnel missing. Yesterday our so called first choice 1,2,3,4,5,7,8 were missing which is going to affect any team.
Yes our confidence is clearly low and we are lacking some leadership on the field which makes the Fifita issue all the more frustrating.
Once we are back to full strength, I'll pass judgement again and if we are in the same position then it might be the time to look at the management

We beat Warrington before lockdown
They didn't have Hill or Hughes but had BMM.
Certainly they were near full strength in both games with their marquee players in place.
We had Johnstone, Arundal, Lyne, Kopczak, Tangata playing
And we were at home.
Chester was there in both games.
So why the change in fortune? Could it be Covid, injuries fitness? Or could it be Chester just became a bad coach and should be sacked?

| Hull KR are probably a good side to compare against because their results aren’t too dissimilar to outs over the same period.
They have the odd good wins...the close defeats against top sides mixed in with the odd hammerings. In that time frame we’ve played them twice...comprehensively beating them 38–10 on their own patch in a huge pressure game at the back end of last season and losing first game of this season at theirs.
What we saying about their coach then?
Went to Leeds and won them their first title in over 30 years.
Went to Warrington and gave them their first final victory in over 40 years.
Won grand finals, challenge cups, world club challenges, been coach of the year, coached Great Britain.
Has he all of a sudden become a useless coach, or like Chester, is he finding it difficult to get results with limited resources and continually up against it with injuries?
