what as loyalty to do with it.so its good to say we played well today just because we support them.if any any players where to read this they would get the wrong impression because to some we played well when we didnt

1) For the past couple off weeks weve been gettin trys off sum mistakes
This week we created our own trys.
2) Our deffence effort was miles better than the last couple off weeks
3) Our kicking game was on form today
And finally number 4) We played more as a team today rather than 1 man glory

I agree that on the edges we looked better today but i think the fact of the matter was we were well beaten by a much better side and totally dominated us in every area of the pitch...

A little OTT but i understand where you are coming from, both teams were far from there best. Wakefield are now in there slump, i have seen it coming for a few weeks prior to the first Wigan game, now they have to work there balls off for the next win, i think its going to be tough, but you are desperate for a win to pick you back up.

1,we had the ball in wigans 20 for the first 20 mins of each half but only scored 3 trys.

2,still conceded 28 points at home

3,our kicking game was poor

4,yeah just about every player made basic mistakes today

so no it wasnt well played today

certain players certainly were rubbish i agree with you for probably the 1st and last time and there is one player who would be in the 4th team if we had one for me next week

Thanks for this - I was beginning to think I'd watched a game in a parallel universe! Our defence was poor. Individual taclkling was poor. We didn't back up players making half breaks. Our forwards had no "punch". We didn't look after the ball. We didn't have a clue how to break their defence when we got in to their 22m. Apart from that we were very good!!

Had to watch on TV today far too many mistakes but the game was played in difficult conditions
no excuse for not moving up into the tackle we stud off them far too much as we did against Bradford.

We are crying out for a natural stand off and it showed today

now for the one that I know I will be slaughtered for Sam Obst (quota player)
I have said this before and I stick by it He gives 100% week in week out if every player on the team some with far more ability than Sam as we would make the play offs with ease
BUT
Effort is no substitute for class in his position He lacks the pace and class to play halfback, He lacks the size to play in the pack.

id agree with that about sam but when we havnt got grix, latu, drew, brough, martin with him at least you can hide him a bit. you cant expect smaller guys to keep tackling lads twice as big for most of the game our pack need to stand up and help em theyve gone soft

At one point we had on the pitch, Martin at Stand off and Brough at scrum half. We had drew at hooker, Latu at Loose forward. Sam was also out there so I presume he must have been playing either second row or prop.

We had hardly any pack out there to help them !

exactly so how the hell do we get go forward. we simply cant keep defending against other teams packs with all halves on. i just dont understand why we need them all on at once

I agree with kear 2day was the best we played in the last 3 games,for those who think wigan were good they must have been watching another game,thought alot ov the difference 2day was the man in the middle,but i would agree we have 2 many half backs on the field at the same time,as 4 sam they ran at him alday the guy gave it his best shot NO lack ov effort
