Kiwi the thing is its the truth though, hes a good player, not the best in the league but I'd say hes well above average. He's not my hero, he's a mate, Ive played with him and under him at amateur level. Obviously he's better in some positions than others but he can cover just about anywhere, admittedly hes too small for prop but he had a bash there for hkr during an injury crisis and didnt let anyone down.

He hasnt signed anywhere....waiting to see how much Sharlston and Fryston offer him 1st

Can't afford to have anyone let the squad down and unfortunately Ben has had numerous chances elsewhere. Whilst a decent rugby player, skill isn't always everything, attitude generally determines altitude!

Whilst I don't subscribe to Uptoncat's description of BC being the player that Greg Inglis could have been, I have never questioned his commitment on the field; I have however questioned his commitment off it, in that he seems to be entirely willing to embarass his employer by attracting negative publicity through his actions.

I beleive he Won Supporters player of year last year and 2nd in Player of year and Players player of year....although i heard he threatened to leather every other player, coach, backroom staff and fan if they didnt vote for him, and he started a facebook campaign to get people voting for him.

He's an absolute idiot but a decent player I wouldn't want him but we crossed the 'moral line' a long time ago so anything seems fair game.

He's an average player who always plays with 100% commitment. If he were good enough he'd still be at hull kr despite his many indiscretions.

Can't believe that so many people rate him as a player. He's almost as undisciplined on the field as he is off it.

I'd have him in a shot,ok he's had discipline problems,but he's not short of pace,is aggressive and can play various positions,get him in red white and blue sharpish!

His silly and stupid indiscipline cost Rovers a try the other night. If he can't keep it together at that level why do we suppose he can at Superleague?

He's a squad player. Nothing more. We have a fair few of those already. What we need are players who will be named as first choice week in week out. He isn't one of them. He's daft. Agar's all about discipline. Poor fit in my opinion.

Ben Cockayne 9 penalties in 17 games = 0.52/game

good stats, but stats are stats. cockayne the three quarter would/should be involved in the game far less than a key figure like morrison.

for me, he shouldn't be a first choice starting player for us so we shouldn't touch.
