From a commercial point of view, you cannot possibly cater to everyone's individual needs was the point I was making.

yes but if you stand 20 foot away from the toilets on west terrace its a long way to go all the way along North stand to other ladies toilets its like telling sponsors they have to go a floor down to toilets and miss big chunk of game

at cas & leed sthey have both sets of fans behind the posts

Davide has indicated that in future the Western terrace 'ladies' toilet will be available for home supporters

thing is its preferable to stand with some of the away fans than it is with some of our own fans ! I had a go at our fans that ran on the pitch at the Salford game at Leigh and got a mouthful for it so do not want to stand near such fans as they spoil my enjoyment so rather be away from them .

Keep the Northstand home fans it is working, we just need results to go our way at home, and the atmosphere will get even better.



Toilets, most new grounds you after walk down terracing, then through a tunnel to get to toilet/food or drink, set off sooner and stop being lazy..





your not close to the pitch in Northstand..?? well stand in east stand its just as close as the west stand...



As for standing with other fans then stand in eaststand that is mixed...



Im sure people just want to moan and groan at every thing the club trys, as for fans not going to games and not renewing their season ticket because they dont get their own way, then fine close door on way out...

Daft thing is if we had put 40 points on Hull this thread would have been only a few pages long. The whole thing is a balancing act. Sadly the club cannot please all the people all the time.

No the club needs all fans of all types and needs to cater for them all. If they all just 'closed the door on their way out' you wouldn't have a club to watch for very long, it would go belly up pretty damn quick. Its about getting the balance right and most importantly getting the planning and communication right before the event. The club got that part wrong this time and people were understandably annoyed. Alienating people is not a good idea, working with them is the way. Together we are stronger works both ways.

The club as not Alienated any one, it is some fans that have said they are leaving or not renewing season tickets because the West stand is for away fans, and they have lost there place.. I know its hard and as made some people unhappy, but we have to move with the times...

A forum like this is never the best way to get customer feedback. Ask for people to phone, write, email in, but,a s was proven by McNally and Rogerson, you can't do it on a forum unless you have a very thick skin.

This isn't an easy subject. We've been fortunate enough that BV hasn't been segregated whilst other stadiums have adapted, modernised or built new stadia which make it much easier to divide fans.

Soon we will be in Newmarket, we will have new surroundings, new views, facilities and of course atmosphere. We won't be able to integrate with away fans like we've previously been lucky enough to do so at BV. I've grown to love the west terrace, and as yet I'm underwhelmed by the North stand but given time I'm sure I'll come to love wherever I stand.

The club are in an unfortunate position of having to enforce segregation. As Davide has kindly eluded to, this was not the clubs wishes, but their arm has been forced by numerous complaints and issues. Lets not point the finger and rather make the best of it before we move to NM. It is not the clubs fault people cannot behave themselves which is the underlying problem. Maybe in future we as fans should also report these idiots to stewards.

They walk the short distance to the plentiful amount of toilets based under the stand they are sat in, not walk all the way across a packed terracing up some steps and join a mile long queue as they are the only bogs availabe in the ground! Anyway they are opening them so thats that problem solved.

I suggest you try seeing other peoples point of view now and again. Its understandabke why the club needs to do this but it has to be done correctly. It wasn't really. You would have thought that something so important that impacted many fans wouldn't have slipped their mind.
