It's a a great achievement to get to the CC Semi, but now that we're here a couple of weeks ago I really fancied our chances especially if we got a bit of luck with the injuries.Now though with the amount we've picked up lately, it's got more difficult by the week. With Sio, B Tupou and from what someone said above Ashurst injured today, then add England, Simon and Johnstone. That's 6 of the starting side and then add guys who could've been in and around the 17, like Annakin. Molloy and Gibson. I know anything can happen and it's a one off game etc but it's a bit disheartening if I'm being honest.

Exactly if we had the same team that won the quarter final we would be 50/50 with Warrington now with so many injuries and Clarke, sandow coming into form I do worry what the score will be.
If the semi final was two weeks after the quarters like it should be , it would be a fairer reflection of our squad.
Anyway Scott Moore back, Danny Kirmond , Scott Anderson and Ben Jones Bishop hopefully all playing we have to pray we can still get a result

Yes. I'm trying to stay upbeat but I'm afraid I am not going there expecting much now other than not getting a pasting. Typical or our luck. We don't get chances like this often and we get the side decimated

With hindsight, it may have been cleverer to rest more for the Cas game - which was meaningless. The injury list puts a different spin on the semi - I can't see anything other than a right towelling.

Agree in hindsight we should have but tbh I was one of those who would have played our best team. CC did a bit of both, rested a few and played a few, but still he couldn't have expected to lose 4.

it might be meaningless to fans but financially it would of been worth the effort finishing 6th, great season anyway

I'm not 100% but I think the money is divvied up depending on league position after the Super 8's.

We're not playing that well at the minute so you having injuries probably evens us out as you have far more grit and determination than any team in the league. Probably a few injuries will only make you more determined and you have nothing to lose. I would just enjoy it and hopefully which ever team wins this, wins the cup.

No problem with Gareth Hewer, think he is one of the better refs. He did the last round for us against shudds.

Childs,Cobb and Hicks are the ones I dislike.

It's easy to bottle it though in a big game, and when against famous players .... (getting in the excuses)

I don't think injuries are as bad as people think - I have a sort of spy in the camp.

Don't know about the Sio injury but I'm told Simon is fine and Kirmond and Anderson have been ready for weeks.

The pack available could be Fifita, Moore, Scruton, Anderson, Arona, Simon, Kirmond, Molloy, Tupou and hopefully Sio. I don't think that is to bad a line up so let's not call it a day just yet. Call Anderson names if you wish but he's a big unit with GF experience.

All the lads need to do is give it a good dig and enjoy it, the pressure is on Warrington.

Sure Warrington are heavy favourites but as Monty said, you can lose every battle so long as you win the last one. We are building a team and a club here and we will come back bigger and stronger next year, defeat (so long as it's brave) is not the end it's just the beginning.

Depending how bad the sternum injury to Sio is and if he is desperate to play he could have a jab.

I've had a feeling a few might have been ok....Simon looked to be walking fine around the field to me on Sunday...different from running and playing a game I know, but didn't seem to be showing any negative signs...

Said it on a thread the other day too...Anderson could be a major player for us in this...along with another who's been copping a bit of stick Anthony Tupou...with their previous big game experience I think we will see their value on Saturday...
