The council loan is a mortgage set against land that has increased in value. A debt but a hugely positive one.

There are no real directors loans. MC is the sole owner so he can’t really be in debt to himself. That’s not to say he wouldn’t want any money back that he has forwarded the club but I suspect there is no rush as I know for a fact that it’s tiny. I think Glover is still in the mix somewhere but again it’s not huge.

The club is slimmed down with minimum debts almost certainly the lowest in SL and some championship clubs and a new revenue ground development soon to be on tap.

My guess is MC wants out and who can blame him the lack of gratitude he gets.

My guess is he aims to make the club as saleable as possible, whether that means SL or the championship. Whichever the club will look an attractive buy to any new owner.

That’s the impression I get that MC wants out. That’s just a guess ofcourse but since Chester has left I don’t think we have heard a peep from him. I still thank him for all he’s done for the club and he may once the stadium is built regather some interest to drive the club forwards. This new east stand will certainly change the shape of the club.

I know this is a bit extreme but if we were to get an investor like Koukash on board this club could radically transform on and off the field imho.

What I suspect MC wants is to create a club that is attractive to someone else. One with a decent set of finances and a good infrastructure. I don’t think supporters can ask for more. If MC wants out and he’s totally entitled to do so he will be the first Owner to pass it on in good shape since Neil Fox was a boy.

As far as I’m aware he is. JM is not a major shareholder though he may have invested some cash.

JM and MC are equal shareholders but they have less than 50% each. Think they own 40% each. John Allot has some ,i think hes 10%.

Did you not say he would want some of his money back and you certainly know him better than me. I would also suspect that a club in SL would appeal to more investors whilst a championship club is probably restricted to an existing supporter.

That’s a million miles away from making any money from a ten year venture. As far as I’m aware Trinity is not a registered charity nor are MC or JM obliged to lose money.

I’m not actually sure what JM does for a living or how wealthy he is. Although I’m sure MC is way richer than me I’d hardly put him in the class of the super rich. What money he has I’m sure is earmarked for his families future well being.
