I think the RFL have made it know to them that it will not affect their current or next license.

As I said, if this had happened before Trinity’s date with HMRC then it could’ve saved RW a fair bit as it doesn’t matter anymore if a club hits the wall, it will not be held against them. OR will it?!

I am going to hazard a guess that this will make no difference whatsoever to anything and unlike Blackpool, Crusaders will reform under a different name and be allowed to carry on as normal and will have already been given a franchise from 2012 onwards.

Maybe we should all bombard the RFL with letters and emails explaing our feelings as to the preferential treatment of Crusaders over Blackpool and also how Widnes were denied a franchise in 2008 because they went into administration so therefore Crusaders shouldn't be given one next time round.

They won't be kicked out, they are not part of the licence process anyway.

I think the RFL have already tested the water with the incumbent SL clubs with regards to the Crusaders continuing in SL despite going into administration and got a frosty answer from the majority, if they are not going to listen to them they won’t give a fig about the supporters.

Also, if the rumour of the removal of the insolvency criterion from the license application is true then the RFL are not going against their own rules.

I thought their fans were already doing that, from the few who attended Belle Vue last season.

They probably have had some sort of assurance from the RFL about their superleague status. But if i were a player already at Crusaders or on my way i would have doubts about the financial situation and if i was going to get paid everyweek. As Seibold mentioned in an interview some people have been hard done by already at this club.

Our supporters did a good job of not turning up for that one too.

I do feel sorry for the supporters as it is them who through no fault of their own are going to get it in the neck from rival fans. The ones who came to BV were a loud bunch and very enthusiastic, which put our fans to shame.

Get the lawyers in fella's either way this ride is going to be bumpy!

No.. they are 30 miles down the road.

and don't foget the "Welsh" bit. Those 6miles don't lie...just ask the RFL. Sound in the knowledge that they have a club nestled in the Welsh heartland. A safe investment.

Sad as this is, I find myself being MORE concerned about out SL future as a result of this rather than feeling with have a little bit more certainty over our future.

It would seem Mr Noble already knew what was to Happen ? as for there players I wonder how that leaves them if they default on wages its open season ,its sad for any team as we already know from our inspired past but hey ho if it means we stay up and carry on.

Absolutely; the tunnel vision and intransigence of the RFL when it comes to 'expansion' clubs will guarantee that no matter what, Crusaders will be around for a good few years to come.

Equally, one way or another, they'll get rid of a West Yorkshire club; that will be us or Cas.

No they'll remove the weakest franchise bid based on the critera they have set down, all above board and fair play all round.

I’m not sure how such clubs as Leeds, Hull, Hull K.R. will react to this, if I was their CEO, I know which clubs supporters & hard cash, I’d rather have coming to Headingley etc.

i think we all know that the rfl will shaft either cas or youselves at the next round of franchises,for me it would be criminal if an heartlands club was to be sacrifised for a club that has twice gone under in the space of 14 months had 6 players deported and cast aside all its local players in favour of overseas cast offs.

what can we do ? well we could sit back and take the 50/50 chance that you hope its not your club that will go or show the rfl that you care and let them know what we really think of their fantasy league they are trying to create.what better opportunity than millenium magic to stand side by side and peacefully show our disgust at the way the rfl think that they can scrape us off their shoe like dog muck.
