What has having an opinion on how well the academy is doing got to do with a 'team sheet'?
I agree that perhaps one should be provided, but perhaps it is a matter of priorities.
I don't get a team sheet when entering the ground for 1st team fixtures, do you?

I'm frankly unmoved by how long you've been involved in junior rugby - it's irrelevant; your point was that not providing a team sheet is 'pathetic' and that it is somehow an indication that the academy set-up is not as good as has been described; in my view, that's a stupidly over the top way of describing what is a very minor issue.

You illustrate my broader point by making barbed comments about the young players; nobody said they were 'extra special,' but there is a justifiable sense that we have some promising lads at U16 and they are obviously well coached. That can only be a good thing and given your devotion to youth rugby, I'm surprised you don't agree.

If you were that interested you'd know that the U16s game was played at Castleford so maybe you should go on their forum to tell them how crap they are, Surely it's their job to produce a team sheet.

Firstly bren where did I say it was pathetic, I asked a perfectly reasonable question about team sheets other clubs provide them what's the problem with us .Most people attending these games are parents and relatives of the players and know most of the teams but folk like myself who are just fans of the youth game find it more interesting if you know who's.playing don't need need you and your deputy the Avenger to give me a lecture by the way still haven't got an answer presume you don't know.Nathan avenger didn't go to cas but always been given one on previous visits,but my question was to do with games at bell vue.I'll try and answer you phe as I've said previously games are much more interesting and enjoyable if you know the names of players particularly the away team as you like to follow the progress made by players team sheets allow you to do this

One other point avenger when I talk about academy I mean u19s as well presume you have some connection with u16 as all your references seem to point towards them

Agree entirely, on a similar note the pa system cannot be heard in the North stand, so you spend the first part of the game trying to work out who is on the pitch and especially frustrating is not knowing who our subs are. We usually resort to tinterweb at the games in order to ascertain who is playing!

You mean like all the posts where I've spoken about Jowitt, Swann, Crowther, Johnstone etc who are all in the under 19s but to answer your assertion directly, I've no connection other than watching nowadays.
The question asked was about the U16s, the U19s we're never mentioned until your last post. You have an agenda as Bren2K said, it's obvious and the really sad thing is that whoever you have a grievance with it's the young lads who bear the brunt of your ridiculous sweeping statements.

That's a separate business that they run together and have done for a long time; he's still at Wakey.

John Kain, I believe, now works as a consultant and still has some involvement at WTW in that capacity.

Apologies bren I did say pathetic nowt to do with how the16s are run my reference was only regarding the fact of the team sheets and I think I have explained the reasons why I felt strongly about that . the question originally was raised by some on else but its the u19s I watch mainly as they play on a regular basis but I have watched the 16s at Bellevue and the lack of teamsheets occurs as far as I know for both acadamies.About having an agenda don't make me laugh I've know axe to grind with any of the academy coaches why should I don't know any of them personally I say what I see and if you and the avenger feel that Wakefield academy need protecting from a wakey fan who as criticised the admin on this point tough don't think its me who's sad at all

they have in the past, I was busy the last home game but when I have watched last seasons u16s the team sheet was issued on entrance and when run out was some more in the bar in the flats, we have only played one home game this season next game is 5th of May v Hull another big team who normally has a good academy, no doubt there will be a quite a few from the skirlaugh squad which was the best from age group

What question? Why there wasn't a team sheet at the one home game of this season?

If you read my posts snowie you'll see I put I watch mainly 19s and I can't remember team sheets for them since Stephenson was here I do remember them with 16s last season but not this I just think snowie if you let things like this slide nothing will ever get done might seem trivial but I've heard others complain

its not trivial at all and should be addressed, it is the entertaining market and they should provided the basics, at least we do have someone working on the tannoy telling us who scored and the score where as at cas the other week there wasn't

Good performance by the 19s today away at Shudds.Went down 32.20 to the league leaders,but the game was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests.A disallowed perfectly good try in the 2nd half was a bit of a game changer,Jacob Ware took to hospital with a head injury,but thankfully seems ok,plus three others forced off not to return so played most of the 2nd half with no interchanges,the lad was forced to right centre in the 2nd half,due to the injuries,I think we have found his new position

.Well done to all the lads today for a good performance in all areas which contributed to a enjoyable game.

Hull FC have been the team to beat this year only losing once in their local derby match Vs HKR when they were without their three England representatives. This will be a tough game and win, lose or draw there's going to be entertainment so come and support the lads.

What are you talking about, how is it my responsibility to print and distribute a team sheet and what makes you think I've got the time to do so.

I volunteer my time to the club as a coach for around 15 to 18 hours a week, why don't you come down on Saturday morning and I'll tell you the team so you can print some off, genuine offer by the way. Just reply to this message and let me know what time you'll be there and I'll see you at the back of the East stand.

While we're there we can get a few things off our chests as you've obviously got something to say to me!
