It purely determines what league your in following season. I think if we were to get an A tomorrow it would guarantee SL in 2025 but then reviewed 2026 October and 2027 would be decided by that score. Hope that makes sense.

Effectively an A means you are definitely in SL.
As it stands there are only 14 teams close to being in SL so it's not a massive issue but if you are a B but 12 teams are better than you, you are relegated.
If you are an A you are in no matter what, even if there are 16 As.

Hull FC are close to losing there A grading from what i've heard

Every year gradings can change, they can go up or down, so it's up to individual clubs to keep up there standards and IMG points scoring. That's the whole idea of IMG,to improve standards across the board for RL clubs and give a chance for ambitious lower league clubs to get into Super League

Do you mean your score can change or the grading?
They will I'm sure change the levels as clubs start to achieve them or as clubs challenge them like the postcode part.
But it should (imho) be for the year after, not the one coming up, otherwise it will harm clubs chasing the wrong targets.

Ultimately an A gives your sponsors, investors and prospective players confidence in your club for the coming year

Really interested to know what Cas have done to get an A - but fair play to their fans for turning out all season and getting them 2.5 points for attendances. Awful rugby in an awful stadium - respect.

Also interested to know how close Bradford and Toulouse were to Huddersfield and Salford. The latter can’t keep relying on their on field performances to keep them up, and it’ll be fascinating to see how high they have to finish next year to guarantee survival.
