Get siddal on a good day and it’s beautiful up on the tops as I did on my last visit , which was cut dramatically short when my grandson broke his wrist in the opening exchanges and we spent the rest of the day into the evening at Halifax royal . But boy it’s open to the elements and I bet bleak when the weather turns , I’d like to think of it more like character building for those brave fans making the pilgrimage up onto the tops than anything else , and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a very great amateur club, who have churned out plenty of super league players in their time , even Shirley Crabtree who then went on to be famous as Big Daddy in the wrestling ring

Yes Ketty they are a good club and like you say have had good players go to good SL clubs in Warrington, Wigan, Leeds , but in the past they have had the pleasure of cherry picking players of other clubs to form super teams, suppose that they must be doing something right to be able to do so. This is Siddal's big day, one of the biggest games in their history.
It's pretty poor that a "big club" like Trinity cant sell their 500 tickets, especially when they're only a tenner.

Agree with the ticket allocation Wrenny. Might just die of second hand embarrassment if we have to give some tickets back to Siddal.
