He played last week in the reserves and looked to have a great pair of hands to link the attack and a decent offload. He looks to be a different style of forward to the others and pretty sure he played at 13.

Regardless, it’s unfair to say Bain would be the one to make way if we need to open up a spot as he has not just returned to fitness. It’s his turn to impress now and let’s judge him on the on field performances after he’s pulled the shirt on a few times.

When he played for Scotland he looked more like a LF than an out-and-out Prop but obviously, he can do both. He's got this nice little scoop offload he gets away a fair amount of times in the tackle, he's also a decent ball handler. He can play big minutes as well, not your atypical prop. We'll see what he can do for Trinity when he gets a chance. I bet he's chomping at the bit to be part of a game, he's come all this way and has just been getting back to full fitness while watching his teammates have a great time.

Doueihi is one of my favourite players despite him playing for a team I cannot tolerate! (As a former Wests Magpies fan… I hate merged entities with a fever similar to the French revolutionists)
Very skilful, big and quick… and plays the game with passion… if fit he would be a top drawer addition to any UK/ French based clubs.

Would be a great option at 6 in my opinion rather than centre. Strike half to go with Russell as organiser at 7, issue is his injury record though obviously.

He’s a great player if you can keep him fit though and still only 25/26.

TJ has had 2 ACL injuries nobody seems concerned about his alleged return to Belle Vue. Rugby league is a physical game and injuries happen if your lucks in it's in. Adam Doueihi is a top player, and his signing would show real intent.

Eden has been released by Halifax with immediate effect, maybe it's him.

It could of course be a winger or two.

Reckon it could be one or both of the Senior brothers.....

On the subject of overseas players my son mentioned the name Kodi Nikorima who is off contract too I believe.

He's come very good, but he basically has his pick of NRL clubs. He will probably end up at south Sydney with Bennet next year.

You'd be a bit wary if one of your ACL's (assuming he has only got 2) has gone twice.

And re Lino, I got the impression Powell has been quite complimentary where others haven't re our little halfback...do you really think they are thinking of showing him the door.

Catalans have just announced TJ is leaving at the end of the season, they offered him a marquee player contract, but he turned it down.

I'm pretty concerned, more about his head knocks than his knees. Just hoping it's worth it. If he strings together form like he has done for Catalans...

If we sign Doueihi and he picks up another long term injury, who is going to be his back up? Presuming that we'll have released Lino to sign him and Gale will have retired, that leaves Lawford who is not ready for regular SL yet, so will we have to sign a backup to Doueihi. Given the amount his wages would be you'd be spending a fair chunk of the salary cap in that case
