We shall see but I'm more confident than I was a month or two back, especially with news that the chemical licence has been revoked at Hicksons and we can now submit a planning app for The Jungle. It will be interesting to see what the state of play will be should all three clubs get new stadia.

There's more than half of the cost of the stadium coming from the club itself?
What is the new stadium cost, perhaps £15m and Cas can find more than half of this?

Not what I read it as. RW said they weren't sure of the actual cost but as it was going to be similar to Chesterfields ground which cost 11.5m that was the sort of figure they were basing it on

No one, (in terms of Cas fans) is commenting on Newmarket now, as far as I can see. Cas fans are merely responding to the comments towards GH that Wakefield fans continue to bring up.

As for the funding, I apologise on that front, I misinterpreted it - I just wish Cas would come out and say X, Y and Z then it would stop all this speculation.

Like I said back in my first post. We're going around in circles again. Wakey are going for Newmarket and know they have the funding, Cas are going for GH and know/believe have the funding and dates in place. Both projects are moving forward and I'm sure both sets of fans want both to go ahead.

Or for the simple fact that some of our funding was unavailable due to Hicksons Chemical licence, the confusion over what facilities were going into the stadium etc etc. I'm sure you'll agree these are reasonable reasons? Anyway, what does it matter now. We've got a start time and if it doesn't go ahead, then's the point to start questioning.

dont know about him being a loan shark but as far as i can remember he made his money out of the misfortune of many companies in wakefield and the surrounding areas in the 60s and 70s. I believe he was very good at looking out for small companies going to the wall as they couldnt compete with larger competition and coming in to buy them out for peanuts (I think thats how he made his money).
