How does the live cap work though? Players will be on a yearly wage, but paid monthly. Therefore could it not be that KR would have been over the cap if all players were to stay for the 2010 season. It would therefore explain why KR were trying to offload Chev Walker initially and now Cooke.

No because we've never tried to offload Chev Walker, Rovers have no salary cap problems
