This is the spin on what i've been told, Ossett i've heard is the venue, being fronted by The community trust, sport england and yorkshire forward (nice to see them doing someting outside leeds for once!).
Major backers include Rodney Walker & a local brewer? Just what i was told a while back, then again on sun by someone different. Anyone else heard that one?

To be honest I don't know the full story but you seem to have one hell of a Chinese whisper there. The community trust is obvious, Rodney Walker is already framed, Yorkshire forward is possible, Sports England I don't know but it's possible, Ossett I doubt but I don't know and the local brewer - is there one.

What you have strung together there is a list of names, organisations and venues that have been named numerous times before. Any hack journo could have come up with that and these forums are full of those.

You have missed two very big names out of your list who I know will be involved if it takes off. If you can name them I'll give your source a bit more credibility.

Just back from the match and noticed whilst back in Wakey that the Council have recently completed a top spec piece of road with footpath and lighting to a piece of 'waste ground' off Fryers Way at Silkwood Park



Can't believe that they would have done that for no reason, nor can I believe that at this moment in time a new industry is going to start up there
