Sorry to say but Minns directly dropped off 3 tackles that led to try’s today. Croft also was terrible.

It tells the story when 8 or so if their try’s came down the centre channels.

Salford were always going to throw the ball wide today and they did just that and we didn’t prepare for the obvious.

When you look at the fact we have TJ, Tupou, Lyne, Kershaw all is unavailable it’s a big ask.

Batch needs to go back to right centre. Was head and shoulders our best player tonight again. Keep him at right centre because on tonight’s viewing I wouldn’t play Minns/Croft again.

At least Max might get a game next week but if we lose it'll be his fault, be back out again and Gaskell reinstated!

A double whammy really due to the point difference.

There were a few decent players in the forwards today. Crowther and Batch were the pick.

We just got absolutely mullered on the edges time after time. We played 5 drives and give them ball back and they spread it wide and scored at will. Dreadful game.

Mins,Croft, and Gaskell were shocking to day talk about fans building up players .Just watch most of first half and left .Seen it to many times over the last few years The players could not be bothered ,so I could not be botherd.watching .The worrying thing is when we were getting 75 + points put passed us over the years it was against teams that were in the top 4 .Not a team that we would have gone above if we had won .Will go down next week for Wigan match but depends on attitude to how long I stay .They just look like a team who all want away and no pride in the shirt

Every game Minns has played, including the Boxing Day friendly, has confirmed that he just isn't even top championship standard. Most of us knew this before we signed him and said so repeatedly. Croft I'm a bit surprised about. We were already looking at our usual defeat over there before that shocking back line was announced but god what a miss match it turned out to be. Salford just repeated what they did to Leeds a few weeks back but with even greater effect against probably the worst back line we've ever put out in Super League..

This is what I can’t understand about Minns being selected … the fact our coach even considers him is extremely worrying !!!

Somebody mentioned earlier in the thread about Hull and Hull KR being hardly any better.

I’ll put today’s result in a bit of context.

Earlier in June, I attended, with Mrs EW and our daughter, the Hull KR v Salford game, in the hospitality bit as it was her birthday.

Hull KR won by something like 46-16, with barely breaking into a sweat.

We stayed on and listened to TS after the game, and when asked about interchanges, he said that the two props were going well, Andy weren’t tiring, so he kept them out there.

Sadly, I disagree, right now we are much worse, and the problems aren’t going away

Hopefully that includes Taylor. Watched him today and was not impressed. Trundled it in and went to the floor like a sack of spuds mostly. We should steer clear.

I am not stupid, nor is my comment. The club and players deserve nothing after that, if you think so, good for you. No professional team should ever have that score put on them, ever. If you think that is acceptable then you are also part of the problem because with performances like that, we may as well be bankrupt.

Vastman the problem is that the club are not helping themselves though are they. We have limped along for several seasons, maybe you can ask your mate why we have not increased the revenue stream over the years.
I guess you are involved in a business would you join one that boasts that it spends less on staff than any other, runs the business on low overheads and has a total annual ambition of just surviving until the next. This is the problem we are facing because if you add to that the loss of their best assets would you join.
I wonder if anyone at the club will make a statement apologising to those supporters who wasted their money and time just like other teams have done.

Being a fane of most clubs is hard work, painful at times, especially ones like Trinity. However there is only one choice if you want the club to survive and that's to keep supporting it no matter what. It's what we are, supporters.

Couple of years back we hammered Hull by a similar margin, and Wigan. They have both recovered.

Personally, I support Wakefield Trinity. They were awful today. But it doesn't mean every player is bad or that the club is going to implode.
Encouraging people not to support the club is the most destructive thing a supposed supporter can do. I've never even seen a Cas fan do that to us.

For me the club is the only thing that matters, those in charge and those playing, or not, in this case are irrelevant. If that makes me a sheep (how pathetic a jibe is that) then I'm fine because at least I'm not you.

Well i dont know about facing reality but the facts are pretty hard to avoid. The rump of our squad will still be with us next season , they will also be a year older and no better than they are now. They all have to be paid and therefore many will still be getting regular games because we cant afford to buy in a dozen or so decent players. Best you can all look forward to is another season watching some of this dross struggle to compete.
