Whether we win or lose i always get the impression that the opposition supports the ball carrier better than we do on attack and the oppositions defensive line moves up whilst our defence stands and waits. you dont need top class players to do this , just fit players working for each other . We start at a disadvantage every game because we seem incapable of matching the opposition in the most basic of ways.

I think if anyone needs to go, it;s that idiot who wrote in the Crusaders programme.

His was the previous article - but then that just about sums Al up anyway!

JK should not be above criticism for the way we are playing at the moment, after all he is the man in charge. But in no way whatsoever is the answer to get rid off him. He has got us to where we are, and given time will turn things around results wise and performance wise.

And I can say that players never follow game plans for 80mins, it just doesn't happen. But at the mo, we seem to be deviating at vital times and it is costing us. But JK knows that, and will address it.

John Kear learns from his mistakes. I remember how we'd always start the season strongly and then fade away. He and his team adapted and evaluated their training and conditioning. Whilst critical of a few things at the club, some of which may lay at the feet of Kear i do believe given time he'll sort them and gets us back playing some good rugby with the support of the board.

Any coach would struggle with their three best players departing and not being replaced.

Indeed last year the team went on a mini slump mid season before going on to finish the campaign strongly. That was after two season of starting like a house on fire before fading badly towards the end of the campaign.

Now this may be clutching at straws but chances are he is structuring the season as such to start well, lay off mid-season then finishing strongly. No team can maintain a high intensity style all the way through the season and they will suffer a dip in form at some stage.

Leeds have been appalling so far this season (by their standards) but what’s the chances they will be on fire when it matters.

It panned out pretty much the way i expected,we went from bad to worse.

We can take it as granted that JK has quite clearly lost the plot,the only question that now remains to be answered,is will he retain a modicum of dignity and do the right thing and sod off!!!!

We can all harp on about the off the field issues which are obviously a nightmare factor, but combining that with Kear's often bizarre selections and interchanges, dismally dull strategies, and seeming inability to motivate the squad took this season well off the rails months ago. When you think that we need to get crowds in to support our application for SL life after next year, Kear's preferred playing style is not helping.

Wakefield supporters are a fickle bunch anyway, and to have this season's disappointment come after Kear's otherwise good, sometimes brilliant tenure hurts a lot of us even more.

When you consider everything on and off the pitch, it looks very bleak for 2012 onwards, so we NEED that stadium to start being built since we don't have much else to show the RFL.

Things are looking bleak...

Crap players in our side atm, the coach not improving things even though he has been given PLENTY of time...
Then were linked to Micheal Worrincey and Kevin Penny... It looks as though the stadium decision won't be heard at the end of September so a further delay to the stadium. No player announcements as of yet.

TRB is the only person keeping the club going! I think even Jacko has given up the ghost!

When we are vying for top spot at the new stadium I won't begrudge TRB doing a lap of honour before kick-off.

Just something hinted at earlier in the week, and with the amount of delays that have already happened I wouldnt be at all surprised, !!!!!!!!

I asked people to stay strong earlier this summer when all the debate about sharing stadia was ongoing - and we came out of that OK.

From what I have heard we have had a tremendous week (I hope one of my cohorts will back me up on this). We can only go as fast as the system allows, but that is exactly what we are doing with regard to the stadium.

Having been at the game today, I am as frustrated as anyone at the lack of application shown by our side. I am also very aware of the difficulties we are having with recruitment - but it's not the first time we've been bargain hunting - and we all said that Moore / Bibey / Golden / Blaymire were poor signings, yet we did OK with them. Remember, a good recipe is more than just the ingredients!

But, I am also aware that a change in our status on the ground, i.e. getting OPP, WILL make a massive difference to how we are viewed by all - including potential players & coaches (if needed). Therefore I still maintain that this is the ONLY chance we have of moving forward and therefore progress in this area has to be a SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE towards our future - even if we are all down because of what happened on the pitch today.
